  • This condo is huge!

"We rented the entire condo for our family of 7 and it was plenty big. Two fill kitchens and s kitchenette, 3 bathrooms, two big family rooms and eating areas. 3screened porches and 2 washers/dryers.Each room had a TV so plenty of room for everyone to spread out for alone time. The Village Activity Center is a 2 minute walk and a great deal for the week."

  • Best of the Beach!

"We had the most wonderful week in this beach house! It is conveniently close to the beach, has all the things that we most enjoy at the beach, plus many extras: a swing on the front porch that's perfect for relaxing in the evening, a screened porch on the ocean side that always seems to have a nice breeze at breakfast time, and outdoor shower that we loved. Impeccably clean, and well-furnished, lots of kitchen equipment. And a full moon! It was a spectacular week, which we'll remember forever!"

  • Fantastic, laid back get away

"After staying in 3-bedroom condos for several years, my extended family decided this was the year to rent a house. We had simply grown too large with six adults and three kids to have anything close to a relaxing vacation in cramped quarters. Plus, the kids are now teen and pre-teens who need some space of their own. Six on the Beach was perfect for that. Three bedrooms with queen beds allowed each adult couple to have their own private bedroom. The bunk bedroom gave the kids their space. The dining area fit the adults at the table and the kids at the bar pretty well. There isn't space for everyone to come together in the living room but that was never a problem. We were able to spread out in the living room, the main deck, the upper deck, the widow's walk and the loft area. Space is not a problem. The beach is fairly easy walk. The access on 2nd Street has stairs at the beach side so be aware you're going to carry your carts for that. The pier is a couple blocks over as is a couple small shops and ice cream. If you're looking for close by restaurants, you won't find them on the island. There a couple of places but most of the restaurants will be a 10 to 20 minute drive to the mainland or Calabash. Communications and service from the owner were a breeze. Very responsive and courteous. Easily one of the best owners I've interacting with for vacation rentals. I thoroughly enjoyed my Sunset Beach vacation and highly recommend the location and Six on the Beach. A list of activities and attractions will inevitably miss something but I will recommend the Bird Island Walking Tour, the Sunset Beach Turtle Watch, Boundary House restaurant in Calabash, the USS North Carolina if you can take a day trip to Wilmington, the Sunset Beach Waterfront Market on Thursdays, and Sunset Beach Trading. Walk to Kindred Spirit mailbox and watch the sunset over the marsh. After writing this, I'm so ready to go back."

  • Amazing Place to Stay - A Home away from Home

"Our second visit to this wonderful condo did not disappoint! The condo is bright, immaculate, quiet and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is well equipped - even a blender! A very comfortable "home away from home". We also love the ceiling fan in the screened porch - where we spent some wonderful time relaxing! We would definitely return for a third time! Sheryl and Chris are very easy to work with and very responsive. We highly recommend this place!"
