  • Wonderful Condo and Vacation!! Will be back next year!

"Condo was absolutely perfect. It was so clean and we have never stayed in such a well-stocked unit. This was our 3rd stay at Sandpiper Bay but the 1st in this unit. Location was great and we enjoyed being so close to the pool. We also loved the screened in back porch and the guaranteed beach parking spot. We have already reserved dates for next year! Thank you again for allowing us to stay in your home!!"

  • Belle Vue East

"The ocean view says it all for this rental...awesome. Think about waking up to this every day at Sunset Beach! Unit is very well maintained by the owners and updated often. It is located right beside a beach access so you are only steps away from the white sand and seashell hunting . There are numerous restaurants nearby and plenty of golf courses to play on. Myrtle Beach and Wilmington are within 45 minutes driving distance for more cultural activities. Bill's Seafood provides you with an array of fresh seafood and Holden Brothers Farm Market is a must stop for fresh vegetables. We've been coming to Sunset Beach for 20 years and this is one of the nicest rentals...A+++++."

  • Fantastic, laid back get away

"After staying in 3-bedroom condos for several years, my extended family decided this was the year to rent a house. We had simply grown too large with six adults and three kids to have anything close to a relaxing vacation in cramped quarters. Plus, the kids are now teen and pre-teens who need some space of their own. Six on the Beach was perfect for that. Three bedrooms with queen beds allowed each adult couple to have their own private bedroom. The bunk bedroom gave the kids their space. The dining area fit the adults at the table and the kids at the bar pretty well. There isn't space for everyone to come together in the living room but that was never a problem. We were able to spread out in the living room, the main deck, the upper deck, the widow's walk and the loft area. Space is not a problem. The beach is fairly easy walk. The access on 2nd Street has stairs at the beach side so be aware you're going to carry your carts for that. The pier is a couple blocks over as is a couple small shops and ice cream. If you're looking for close by restaurants, you won't find them on the island. There a couple of places but most of the restaurants will be a 10 to 20 minute drive to the mainland or Calabash. Communications and service from the owner were a breeze. Very responsive and courteous. Easily one of the best owners I've interacting with for vacation rentals. I thoroughly enjoyed my Sunset Beach vacation and highly recommend the location and Six on the Beach. A list of activities and attractions will inevitably miss something but I will recommend the Bird Island Walking Tour, the Sunset Beach Turtle Watch, Boundary House restaurant in Calabash, the USS North Carolina if you can take a day trip to Wilmington, the Sunset Beach Waterfront Market on Thursdays, and Sunset Beach Trading. Walk to Kindred Spirit mailbox and watch the sunset over the marsh. After writing this, I'm so ready to go back."

  • Perfect house for family beach week

"We loved this house! We spent a week there as a family getaway, 2 couples and a single slept comfortably. Great location, half a block away from the beach. Great communication with the owners. They checked in with us by email to make sure everything was OK, and they answered any questions we had while we were there promptly, they were very responsive. Property is well-maintained and clean. Check out the "poop deck" at the top of the house, the stars at night are amazing! Kitchen was well-equipped. Sunset Beach is great because it's a quiet beach, not built up. Couldn't have asked for anything more, highly recommended."
