  • Great beach house in North Topsail

"My family rented this beachfront house for a week in early July 2016. We loved the house, the proximity to the beach and the location on the island. The house has all the amenities you need: air conditioning, wireless internet, three full bathrooms, four bedrooms, cable TV, a nice deck and it is right on the beach. We would definitely consider renting this house again."

  • Lovely stay!

"We are just back from seven nights at this property and had a wonderful trip. The property is in a great location--it is just a walk along the beach from Surf City Pier, a short walk from a great coffee/donut shop (The Daily Grind) and also close the a top-rated NC spa (Inis Spa). We loved the ability to take advantage of local attractions without having to load up in the car. A highlight for my kids was the Surf City Fire Department, just across the street a bit from the house. My sons (4 and 3) loved seeing the fire trucks, and on one morning one of the men from the fire department saw us walk by and was nice enough to come out and approach us with firefighter hats for the kids. They also loved Soundside Park (though we did have to drive to that one). The beach here is great. Very clean and well-patrolled--we saw town workers on the beach each day, regularly emptying public trash receptacles and patrolling. We found the residents of the area to be very friendly, often saying hello or chatting with our kids on the way by. From the top level of the home the ocean views are almost surreal. We loved watching the ocean from the kitchen/dining room/living room. On our first morning we were sitting down for breakfast and quickly noticed dolphins out in the water--we were fortunate enough to see them several more times as well! We also saw a few large groups of pelicans and the kids loved watching them dive in and out of the water. The house itself is spacious and allows for both privacy and togetherness. The kitchen is well-equipped and made cooking for our group a breeze. The stand alone ice maker is a great addition to the kitchen. We also appreciated the washer and dryer very much. The only (very minor) nuisance for us was some splinters walking on and off the beach--the stairs are a little weathered, so make sure you bring flip flops to wear as you walk to and from the beach. Overall we were very happy with our stay here and all agreed we would love to re-visit Paradise Revisited!"

  • Awesome House! Great Family Gathering Spot!!

"This place is fantastic. It has something for everyone as we loved the 3rd floor main room for gathering around the table, catching some college football, or playing some fun video games. All the decks are amazing and it is great to walk straight onto the beach from either level. It is like you have your own ocean and beach to yourself!!! Everything is provided for a great family beach vacation! Thanks Nadine!!!"

  • Nice, clean, easy beach access

"The Pros: This place was very clean, and very comfortable for my family of five. The beds were all comfortable, the kitchen is fairly well stocked, and is also roomy. The dining room sat 8 people one night, which was wonderful! The beach access is very easy to walk to, although there isn't a ramp nearby and we witnessed a lot of families with rolling carts struggling with this. The porch is wonderful! The table and chairs are perfect, and you can clearly see the ocean from one side of the porch. The cons: Two of the three bedrooms are on the side of the main road, and that road gets a surprising amount of traffic and nearly all night, with a lot of loud engines! The Trailer Bar (literally a trailer bar) across the street has live music every night of the week; while they do stop around 10:45, it was annoying. If you're in the living room, you can't hear it, but if you want to sit on the porch, or hang out in a bedroom it's not relaxing. There is also public beach parking across from the condos which adds to the traffic, and makes this area of the beach more crowded. (There is also a public park, for kids, across the street, but that didn't bother us at all.) If none of the cons will bother you, then I would recommend this place because the pros are really great. I appreciate the owners renting this out because our family did have a really nice time. Thank you."
