  • LOVED IT!!!!!!! GREAT OWNER COMMUNICATION

"GREAT PLACE, HAD A GROUP OF 10. THE FOUR KIDS HAD THE UPSTAIRS TO THEMSELVES AND PLACE IS RIGHT ON THE BEACH. NO ONE CLOSE TO YOU ON EITHER SIDE. GREAT COMMUNICATION WITH THE OWNER WHO ALSO HAS A DIAMOND IN THE RUFF RESTUARANT ON THE ISLAND, THE SHRIMP HOUSE. THAT WAS THE BEST SEAFOOD WE HAD DOWN THERE AND VERY GOOD PRICES. WE WILL BE BACK FOR SURE. I WOULD RECOMMEND."

"Lots of room in this lovely home. We were unable to get into the tennis courts using the code provided. Beach is one of my favorites."

  • WONDERFUL HOME!!!

"This home is much nicer than it looks in the photos! Beautiful, expansive views from the triangular shaped windows. Large covered decks with elevated chairs. Tons of dog gates inside and out to keep dogs safely contained on certain floors or decks, etc. totally dog friendly. This home is on the very north end of the island and about a 25 minute drive to nearest grocery. A quiet area. Very well stocked kitchen. Could use a second refrigerator..."

  • Outstanding 80th Birthday Celebration and Family Reunion!

"I am not normally one to take the time and write reviews like this, notwithstanding my not being shy about having opinions. However, this house was outstanding and the owner, Mr. Randall, was gracious, honest, and made our extended family reunion and my dad's 80th birthday celebration at the beach a memorable one! Our family came from all over upstate New York, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Virginia, South Carolina, etc. and we spent a week at Pura Vida. It was a lovely and memorable stay. This house is wonderful and has everything a large family or group could want. There is able space for family togetherness and equally enough space when too much time together would be too much. That is rare in a rental home. Beyond ample community space, most of the rooms have an en suite bathroom in each bedroom. The kitchen accommodated us so well that we ate in more than we anticipated and enjoyed it very much. The house has lovely granite, stainless steel appliances, and well-stocked plates, pots, utensils, etc. The beach was beautiful and my father, who has some limited mobility, was able to travel the short and level walkway to the beach. We would have just enjoyed that until God gave us a nice rainstorm one night and we watched the lightening from the fourth floor family room and then enjoyed the lovely theater room with free Netflix. The pool was lovely too, and at night had changing lights that amused everyone. The bedding was good quality and an in-house elevator took the challenge away from climbing stairs for my parents. The beautiful beach and its private access made for a special time. When we experienced a minor maintenance issue with a sliding glass door and resetting the elevator, the maintenance man was there immediately and with a helpful, happy attitude. The owner and his team are top notch, and remind me fondly of the past when people care for each other and they provided you with what they said they would. I endorse this house and very highly recommend it to a family or group for a special occasion or a wonderful vacation. We may just visit it again. This house easily accommodated a large family, and made for wonderful memories. Thank you for the Pura Vida for the week."
