  • great weekend getaway

"This was a perfect house for a weekend getaway. The house was quiet, charming, and had everything we needed for our stay. Sherry was quick to answer all questions that I had, and made it a great experience. I hope to return! Thanks again for opening your home!"

  • Short Winter Stay

"I took my husband to the home for a short winter stay for his birthday. What a beautiful place! The home is in the perfect location at the end of the beach, ocean front and there is a beautiful rock pier and inlet next to it. Such solitude and beauty in February. We watched the parasailers and surfers from the lovely deck. The home is very clean and spacious, a real treat. There is a fire pit area outside too for those cooler nights. We had an amazing time. The host made the transaction super simple. We would love to come back for a longer stay."

  • Great place, great location

"We really enjoyed our stay. The place was the perfect size for the two of us. We really liked the location. The coffee shop next door - Sun Days - was a neat place to go. The wifi was out so we went next door to use theirs. We liked that they supplied beach chairs, bikes and kayaks. We will definitely stay here next time we come visit our son again in Wilmington."

  • Our first beach vacation was PERFECT!

"After having spent many summer vacations in Wrightsville Beach when I was a kid, my husband and I knew it would be a great place to bring our boys: 10, 8 and 7. A quick house search led us to Seas the Moment. The pictures caught our eye, the location seemed just right, but the reviews sealed the deal! And once we arrived, we quickly learned that all the gleaming reviews were right on. The rental was steps from the beach, clean, updated, roomy, comfy, well stocked and pretty much set the tone for our perfect vacation! Our favorites in the house: The outdoor shower! The basket of pamphlets of area attractions. A king-sized bed! The pancake griddle! The washer and dryer. The little gargoyle by the stairs. The Nest thermostat - pretty sure we will have to get one now. The orange and pink drinking goblets - the boys used them every day. The perfect toaster - ours at home only warms the bread! The short walk to the beach. The view from the master bedroom. The deck. The quiet street. Our favorites around town: Grabbing our daily coffee at The Workshop and meeting the very sweet, megaladon-tooth collecting owner! South Beach Grill and Moe's Barbecue. Seaside Linen Rental. Sean's Private Surf Lessons. A near-by Whole Foods. The USS North Carolina. The Serpetarium. Coastal Urge. We also drove a bit to grab the Bald Head Island ferry and rented a golf cart to scoot around in - which was very awesome. And we rented kayaks and stand-up paddleboards from the very nice guys at Wrightsville SUP - which was a bit less than awesome. The SUP place was great, but when 3 small children get tired and there are only 2 parents to tow them back against the current, things can get tricky! Lesson learned! Last but not least, Gloria made the whole rental process very accommodating and personal. She checked in with us to make sure we knew just what to expect and emailed us a great list of activities and area restaurants which we used heavily! Big thanks to Gloria and Seas the Moment for making our first trip to the beach just what we needed!"
