  • This house is fantastic! The kitchen is well stocked with everything we didn't need to bring.

"The house was clean and in great shape. The boat house is a great addition and we enjoyed it to the fullest. Our family was in need of a great get-away adventure and this was the perfect place. On behalf of our family I want to thank everyone involved with this rental and we are planning on returning to Lake Gaston next summer. Thanks again. T Hamilton"

  • Quiet, comfortable, and relaxing AGAIN!!!

"This was our second year in a row to stay in this wonderful lake home. I would like to say "ditto" to everything I said last year...and more! One thing we were fortunate to do this year that we weren't last year and that was to take a boat tour of Lake Norman. It was a beautiful day and the water was as clear and smooth as glass. Some of the most beautiful homes of the rich and famous are sitting lakefront on this enormous lake. We ate at a lakefront restaurant called Rusty Rudder that had delicious food, fun and friendly atmosphere, great view and with our "tour guide" and his beautiful wife, it couldn't have been better. Again, I would like to thank Rick and Teresa for this wonderful experience and hope to stay at your beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing lake home next year."

  • Great house for a golf weekend

"We stayed here with a full extended family - grandparents, kids and grandchildren. The house has a great layout, great amenities and is well equipped. It was a great house for our family golf weekend and I would absolutely rent it again if coming back with a group of guys for a golf weekend. Highly recommend."

  • Beautiful condo

"We evacuated Charleston, SC because of Hurricane Matthew and somehow ended up in Pinehurst, NC. The condo was exactly as advertised, very comfortable and up to date. It is perfect for a group of people who want to enjoy the many golf courses around Pinehurst. For us, a family with four small boys, it was easily the best place for our situation, but we had to move some of the more fragile items out of reach or out of sight. There are nice options around town for families-- a public park called "Camelot," and an indoor play area called "Play Escape." We also took a day to go to the zoo in Asheboro. (Note to users of Siri and similar voice-based GPS aps: Asheboro is easily confused with Ashborough. The two towns are about an hour apart, as I learned.) The owner was kind and understanding about our situation. We could only make one of the three televisions work (which suited me) and the hurricane knocked out the cable and wireless internet during the final 24 hours we were there. In all, having access to this condo turned what would otherwise have been several days of abject misery in hotels into a fairly nice (though rainy) vacation."
