  • Wonderful!

"While on our 20th anniversary get-a-way trip to Asheville, my husband and I stayed in this beautiful, well appointed, cozy chalet. We enjoyed using the sauna in the evenings and felt indulged with the radiant floor heating in the bathroom. There are several options for entertainment provided in the chalet-large screen TV, movies, music, and the sauna but we just enjoyed the reading on the porch! The property is located in a quiet neighborhood that is convenient to the Blue Ridge Parkway, downtown, and the Biltmore Estate. A few local eateries that are close by that we highly recommend are The Korea House (downtown), the East Village Grill (Tunnel Rd)and The Copper Crown (Tunnel Rd). Jean-Jacque was very gracious and helpful. We would definitely recommend this property for a couple's weekend away and would not hesitate to stay here again!"

  • As advertised!

"I would definitely rent this property again. The location is very good - 15 minutes from most things in Asheville, but a feeling of being away in the mountains. Our family enjoyed the living room with its comfortable furniture (love the swivel chair!), views, and beautiful stone fireplace. We have small dogs, and liked that there are 2 fenced in areas, and little carpeting. Excellent laundry room, home office/dining area, large master bath with private toilet area, good seating on the deck, good parking. The house does have some quirks - like the very hot water that comes out of the cold tap in the bathroom, and it has an "updated 90s" vibe- man made countertops mixed with granite, new sink/old cabinetry etc. They also need to replace the ceiling light in the master bedroom because it makes the corner storage space very dark. The kitchen was pretty well equipped, but we missed having a griddle. We liked the stools at the island with good access to plugs for charging devices - good morning hangout space. The bottom floor is rented out, but the renters were friendly. I would bring extra towels - only the minimum is provided. I highly recommend this property."

  • Great Townhouse centrally located for an amazing price for 4!

"Perfect home base for our trip to NC to look at venues for our daughters wedding. The townhouse is located in a quite neighborhood off the beaten path. It is centrally located between Hendersonville and Asheville. You have a short drive to either. The Pisgah Nat forest is just to the west and Chimney Rock to the east, 45 min drive either way. We had time to explore the area during the day, come home and cook out on the gas grill and relax in the evening on the comfy couches. The place is well kept, clean and has all amenities you need! Love the fact we could do our laundry our last night there and take home a suitcase filled with clean clothes! It is cozy and our family of 4 filled it up with a little elbow room to spare. Very charming! Highly recommend and will definitely be back."
