  • Loved this house. It had everything you needed & desired.

"This house was fabulous with so much to do without ever leaving the house. It was on a very private piece of property, so you felt very secluded. Lots of decks to lounge on and a relaxing hot tub and hammock. We never even got to use the fire pit. Just ran out of time. I spoke with the owner, Tricia, and she was very nice. I would rent this house again from her in a heartbeat. Michael"

  • Great house and location for a large group!

"The house was great. We had a large crowd and it fit us all comfortably. Being right on the lake with a boathouse made the days fun and easy. Great communication and price! Loved our stay!"

  • Wonderful location and charming place to relax after a day of playing.

"My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay at the Treehouse Chalet. The house has a perfect little cabin feel and has all the amenities one would need. It is well decorated, homey and relaxing. We only cooked two nights during our stay (we are pretty lazy about cooking when on vacation) but had all of the kitchen materials we needed when doing so. The bed was very comfortable and we absolutely loved having the windows open at night to listen to the babbling of the nearby stream. We used the house as mainly a place to rest and were off each day with our outdoor activities. The location of the home was perfect. It was close to Maggie Valley and Waynesville and not a terribly long drive to the National Park, Pisgah National Forest and the Blueridge Parkway. While you feel a bit more remote at the house when you're there, in actuality, you're not. Waynesville has a great grocery store and it's not a huge deal to go and pick up anything you might need during your day. Plus, there are a ton of places to grab a bite to eat if you're not into working during your vacations like we are. We loved the proximity to Asheville and we spent a couple of days there as well exploring and visiting the Biltmore Mansion. The only challenge I could see for some is the driveway and the steps up to the house. We have a 4 wheel drive Jeep and are both quite athletic so each were not a concern for us but I could see this being an issue for some. We did turn on the 4 wheel drive to get up the driveway and put rocks behind the wheels at night just to be safe. In the end, I would not recommend this house to a family with small children. It was enough to haul our stuff up and down the steps let alone doing that with kids in tow. If you have a little older children it would be best. Overall, lovely place to stay. We would absolutely stay there again and fell in love with the area."

  • Wonderful

"It was an absolute beautiful place and beautiful setting. Close to everything we wanted to do in the area. The owners were so helpful and easy to get in touch with. You will not be disappointed if you stay here and we hope to be able to stay here again in the future."
