  • Quiet, Comfortable & Relaxing

"I want to start out by saying I am super picky and very judgmental of where I stay. So, with that said the guy that gave this place 2 stars was just not a nature person and belongs staying in the city where he might be served and catered too! and someone that lives on his internet devices, vacations like this do not want you to use internet, its to get away from that, therefore Wifi is not available there, but my cellphone still worked just on extended network! No biggie! Wasn't there to use it! Pros are: Awesome friendly owners Very clean Peaceful Relaxing Comfortable Has 2 Bedrooms and 2 Full Baths Has Washer and Dryer in Separate Laundry Room Front Porch with relaxing rocking chairs and hot tub in working order with awesome view of the beautiful creek. Has small grill for grilling Private walking areas in nature all with creek by your side Has friendly dog that lives up the mountain for happy enjoyment (big animal lover) deer tracks all around trails actual wood burning fireplace Lots of play area that is private for adults and kids New pots and pans Dishwasher Good running hot water no smelly well water cable TV (lots of channels if needed) Casino 8 miles away (Harrahs) Walmart and other stores within 5 to 10 miles Cons: Pots and pans were really scarce and bad BUT owner quickly went and bought us new ones so no longer a problem could use a bigger grill if have more than 2 people slippery deck when wet so be careful near up ramp going around corner (this does need addressed) as ramp up has shingles for protection of not slipping which is great, but right around the corner of up ramp when wet gets slippery. maybe a large rubber mat would fix that. Only real true downfall: highway right in front that you will see and hear from time to time making it not so private (trees semi block but not completely) basically it is not off the beaten path, you can go venture down them on farm/property which is awesome but creekside home is situated near the highway. Other than that this place is awesome. Plenty of mountain views, hillside journey drives, water all around, cows for viewing. Very beautiful! Thank you Bass and Sandra for a wonderful stay!"

  • Beautiful views

"We have been coming to Georgia and Tennessee mountain cabins for over 20 years and this NC cabin beats all of the others for the view and seclusion! You drive up a curvy paved road to a locked gate, enter the code and when the gate opens: paradise awaits! There are stunning mountain views from that moment on as you wind on up the mountain on narrow paved roads. This is a Beautiful cabin with great mountain views! There are 2 floors with 2 living room areas and 2 fireplaces, although we only used 1 floor. The views are simply stunning and the cabin is sooooooo private! I guarauntee you will love this cabin!!"
