  • Comfy and clean cabin

"Had a great stay, husband booked for my birthday weekend. Very clean and well stocked cabin. What a great location and family time there was priceless. Will definitely love to stay again in the future."

  • News Year's in the Smokies

"We spent a wonderful week at this cabin with our family and our neighbor's family. The owner Annie was beyond helpful before we booked. She spoke with me at length about the cabin and the surrounding area. We decided that it sounded perfect for what we were looking for. However, we were still completely overwhelmed with what awaited us when we arrived. The cabin is the last cabin at the top of a mountain overlooking the Smoky Mountains. The view was breathtaking. In addition to the view, the cabin was also more than we expected. The pictures don't do it justice. The cabin itself is amazing but also the furnishings were impeccable. Annie has done a great job with the decorations that add to the feel of a "log cabin" but with high end taste. The beds all have heating pads and were very comfortable. Large closets and bathrooms were a bonus. My only suggestion would be for hangers for the guests who are staying for a longer period of time. We spent the cold nights by the beautiful fire place, playing games and listening to music. One of the best parts of the house's location (in addition to the spectacular views) is its proximity to Bryson City which we were so surprised to find. It is the cutest little town with some amazing little restaurants. We planned to cook dinner every night but ended up eating out. The house is very convenient to the city and its amenities and although the trip up the mountain is a little steep, it was so much better than lots of other cabins in the mountains. We never ran out of things to do. The cabin is so conveniently located to everything the area has to offer. We hiked the waterfalls at Deep Creek trail, we mountain biked at Tsali and we mined for gold in Cherokee, all within 30 minutes of the cabin. But really we could have spent all day in the cabin looking at the view with the kids exploring the mountain around us and been completely satisfied. Thank you to Annie for a memorable and relaxing New Year's in the mountains!"

  • We Will Stay Here Again

"First let me say this is a beautiful home. It has everything you need for a home away from home. Our family had plenty of room. We are a family of seven with ages ranging from 82 to 3. Everyone was able to have their own bedroom space and the Sun-room is set up for the younger ones. The back closed in porch was a great place to relax in the evening before bed or in the morning as you enjoy your coffee. The Deck area is a perfect place to enjoy a meal outside or just relax and watch the kids play. The backyard has a picket fence around it so the kids have a place to just get outside and you don't have to worry about them getting into the creek. I can not say enough positive things about this house. It is close enough to everything you want to do and still be back home to fix supper. The kitchen is well furnished. Everything was there for us to cook any meal. You provide the food and they have everything you need to prepare it. The charcoal grill in the backyard was an added bonus. You will not be disappointed with your stay here. We did not want to leave when our stay was over and we are already making plans to stay here again next year for our vacation."

  • Good place in a good location

"We needed a place for spring break and this was available. It had no reviews. It was nice and clean and perfect for four people. If you like to cook a lot the pans are a little small, but ok for easy food. It was about 25 minutes from NASA and 5-10 minutes from free beach parking outside Patrick AFB. Overall a decent quiet place in a good location."
