  • Epitome of the perfect getaway

"My boyfriend and I just returned home from Treetop Vista and are already planning the dates for our next visit. We are in consensus that this vacation was by far the most relaxing we've ever been on. Even though Asheville was only a short drive away, we opted to spend the majority of our time at the cabin. We cooked the majority of our meals there and simply enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. A big thanks to Nancy for she incredible hospitality. Truly felt like a home away from home. We can't wait to return next fall...hopefully with our dog Walter!"

  • Did not want to leave!

"I, my husband, and two friends rented the Pine Ridge Chalet from April 1 to the 4th. We had an amazing stay. The cabin was clean and very cozy. Two of the rooms were huge and could possibly hold more people if needed. The upstairs had a loft area with a futon, a closed room with a king size bed and ample room, and a small bathroom with a toilet and tub and sink. One of the downstairs room had a door leading out to the porch where you can sit on a swing and listen to the creek. The kitchen was small but we only used it for breakfast and managed nicely. Most of our time was spent outside. We were able to build a nice fire and roast some hotdogs and marshmallows. You are able to see the Hilltop Cabin, but it didn't bother us at all. It was extremely quiet and felt like we were the only ones on the mountain. The area was extremely peaceful and none of us wanted to leave. We felt like three nights was just enough time to get into the groove of things and wished we stayed for a week. If you are looking for a getaway, this is definitely the place to be. A couple of things I do want to mention. When we were looking at the reviews, all we saw were people worried about driving over the creek. We brought up my small car to save on gas. It's a Sonic Turbo LTZ. The creek was not the problem at all. When you hit the fork between Pine Ridge and Hilltop, things get a little bumpy and steep. There's a sign that says to maintain 12mph till the top. If you maintain that, you shouldn't have a problem but I would definitely recommend taking a V6 or 4WD. We plan on bringing my husband's jeep or our friend's truck the next time we come. Overall, I highly recommend this cabin. It's in the perfect location as it's very close to different sights and the town. The feel of the cabin location is priceless. You instantly become peaceful and forget your busy life. We all want to come back and stay longer."

  • Beautiful house with a fantastic view of the mountains

"My husband and i and family recently stayed at the Earthberm House while our daughter was getting married on the Brahma Ridge Event Center property. We loved it there. It was very convenient because we were very close to the wedding festivities, It was huge and accommodated up to 8 of us comfortably. The views of the mountains were breath taking also. We highly recommend this house as it had everything we needed and if we didn't see something the Brahma Ridge owners Holly and Rob were very helpful and got what ever we needed. And ... they were a lot of fun! Holly even helped me out at the reception with fastening my sandals! I'm sure that wasn't in her job description but she did it. i would highly recommend this house for your next vacation rental. Patty and Mark"

  • Beautiful Mountain Retreat

"We stayed in this beautiful barn for a weekend in September to celebrate my thirtieth birthday. The whole place was absolutely stunning from the moment we walked in the door. It was very clean, well maintained, and the owners made us feel right at home. We really enjoyed spending the evenings at the fire pit and loved that the farm's horses would walk right up to the fence and let us pet them. We felt like we had the best of both worlds: we were far enough removed from the city to enjoy the peace and quiet but close enough that we could easily pop into town during the day. My whole family enjoyed their stay, and we would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a unique place to stay near Asheville. We will definitely be returning in the future!"
