  • Wonderful place to stay

"We very much enjoyed our stay at Froggy and plan to return sometime! The cabin is immaculately clean and well kept. It feels secluded but is still convenient to Waynesville, Canton, Asheville, and Cherokee."

  • Fabulous

"Beautiful, relaxing spot in the NC mountains! Cabin is fully stocked and very homey! Large enough for our group of 5 with many little niches for solitary time. Porch is awesome. Needs a new Weber kettle. Be sure to bring charcoal. Be sure to bring along a NC State Map; GPS does not work in this area and a full tank of gas! Thanks to Dan for a great stay! We want to come back!"

  • Unique Property

"This was a great get-away! The "cottage" is beautiful, well equipped and very clean. The grandchildren (10 and 7) had a blast. They caught lots of fish and a large turtle. Really enjoyed the patio fire. The Chef's Table restaurant in Waynesville is VERY good. I wish I knew more about the history of the place. It's as if a development were envisioned, started and not finished. Which is actually nice because instead of a lot of houses, you have beautiful wide opened spaces."

  • Truly Magical

"We had a wonderful week at the Laurel Cottage in Cold Mountain. The cottage itself was perfect and exceeded our expectations, but it is the grounds that really makes this a special place. The swimming hole and rope swing were a favorite, and my daughter caught her first fish (and then many more) at the trout pond, but even just the large fields where the kids could run around were fantastic (and they were filled with fireflies in the evening!). We loved hiking up to the lookout, which provides stunning views of the entire area, as well as just sitting on the porch and taking in the scenery. Thanks for making this special place available to us, it was beyond what we could have hoped for."
