  • Fantastic experience and property

"My girlfriend and I rented this property along with two other people for three nights and could not have been happier with our experience with regards to 1) coordinating with the (very pleasant) owners, and 2) the property itself. The property is in great condition and the overall experience was phenomenal. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to others and look forward to returning again in the future."

  • Eight Person Friendly Retreat to the Mtns.

"We could not have asked for a better getaway location. This was an awesome awesome awesome house! The space in the house was perfect for a large group of eight. The view is legitimately amazing! Couldn't have asked for a better set up. We fished (our own poles), kayaked, paddle boarded, canoed, and just relaxed around the water off the dock. The cell phone reception was non-existent, which was perfect for a group that wanted to unplug and have some fun away from civilization. Make sure to print your directions because GPS won't get you there! You are right around the corner from the boat launch too, so it would be fun to bring some bigger water toys along. We may have watched a few throwback VHS tapes from the house's collection as well when the rain brought us inside from the fire pit, ping pong, and pool table - but we still made plenty of time each night for s'mores, hot tubbing, and star gazing. We will either come back or wish we had!"

  • The perfect mountain retreat!

"Our week in June was the third summer we have vacationed in this spacious and beautiful home in Old Edwards Club. Our group includes three couples and grandchildren ages 16, 12 and 10, and EVERYONE has plenty of room to spread out and relax. Kitchen is well appointed, baths are beautiful and porch must comfortable the whole week. We really enjoy the club pool, used it every day! We have already planned our week in 2017-thanks Debi and David for the memories!"

  • For the price the property was great; new furnishings and great access to the lake.

"We loved this vacation. The property had two stories, which I hadn't realized from pics. Internet access didn't work for us but we were there to be outside so we didn't mind. It is a short walk down to a fun lake with a beach and boat/kayak rentals. Our kids--8 and 10--also really enjoyed the amenities. The "resort" isn't luxurious but for little kids, it was great. They loved the pool, the putt putt course, and the game room with ping pong, pool, air hockey, etc. There were even buckets of dirt and a sluice for "mining" you could buy and mine for gems. The access to amenities costs $2 per day for adults--under 14 are free. Lee was excellent to work with and was willing to let us come early and check out late. He responded immediately to all questions. We loved hiking and swimming in falls in Gorges Park (only 10+ minutes away)and enjoyed driving to other waterfalls in the area. I didn't give it five stars because no internet, some of the kitchen utensils/pots were dirty, and it wasn't completely amazing. However, the property obviously had been updated and it was great. We appreciated the two beds in the second bedroom so kids could have their own--beds were comfortable and the property actually looks nicer than it does in the pics. For the price it was excellent. We will be coming back to this area."
