  • Wonderful Thanksgiving

"My two sisters, my mom, and I had an amazing time at the cabin. It was our first trip together in such a long time. The cabin was beautiful and the views were outstanding (big wrap around porches). We were able to catch a little of the fall colors in the trees. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean and well stocked. We hung out at the cabin all day on Thanksgiving and made a bigThanksgiving dinner and watched football. We also went to Cherokee, which was just a short drive, for a day trip and even did a night of gambling at Harrah's (all came out winners$). We are going to start a tradition to spend Thanksgiving somewhere in the mountains and hope all of the future years will be as wonderful as this one. Thank you Mike and Patricia!"

  • Perfect weekend getaway!

"My friends and I stayed here for two nights in July and couldn't have been happier! The location to Nantahala and Lake Fontana couldn't be more perfect. Bryson City isn't far of a drive either for a night out. The cabin is adorable. AC units in the bedrooms, comfy back porch, and the cabin was stocked with all the basic necessities. Thank you again Adrienne and Joel!"

  • Beautiful Views

"I'll start off by saying the views lived up to the expectations. The house sits atop a 4 mile mountain road with panoramic views of the smokies. The fall colors made it even more spectacular! The mountain road up to the house is something I haven't wuite experienced before...but after the first time it becomes an adventure filled with gorgeous scenery. If you are staying here for the first time...I highly advise showing up before dark. The owners provided very detail instructions but not knowing what to expect still makes it scary. But don't worry! It is well worth it. The owner, Tama, was nothing but helpful the entire trip. We probably bothered him too much but he continually provided us with anything we asked and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. The only bad thing I can say is that the house had a few bugs inside. It was mostly just ladybugs downstairs and it was never even an issue. They minded their own business and ypu couldn't notice them after a while. Also, if you are going to hike black rock trail near the property make sure to allow ample time. To get to the trail was quite a trek up the mountain road and was all uphill...but it was so beautiful. Overall my stay could not have been much better. The seclusion, the views, the beautiful house, and time with family makes this place special. I can't wait to come back next year and explore more of the area! Thanks Tama!"

  • We will be back

"Spent a long weekend with my husband for my 50th birthday. Close to action yet tucked away from the crowd. The cabin was very clean and had every modern convenience and we were happy to spend the majority of our time outside on the porch. We have recommended to all of our friends and intend to come back again and again!"
