"I can't say enough positive things about this rental. The views are amazing and if you're an animal lover this is also right for you. My husband and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary here and was not displeased. We had an in cabin massage, which I strongly recommend, she was the best I'd ever had. Always someone available to answers questions or to make recommendations. Reservations went well without any issues."

  • Wonderful home!

"Stayed three nights in this beautiful home for our annual sibling gathering. There were seven adults and we were very comfortable! We cooked together in the kitchen and on the gas grill, fished in the Pigeon River, shopped in Waynesville (lovely shops), watched football, and enjoyed the wonderful views from the deck! We did not have any water problems though we all showered daily and washed dishes by hand and in the dishwasher. Noting that the property is for sale, we did let Scott know some relatively minor concerns, but they did not interfere with our stay and he was very receptive to our comments."

  • A little far out but great for relaxation

"This cottage is light, airy and modern. It does not have air conditionaing but it does have many fans and the elevation is high enough that it was seldom too warm. . It cooled down to the 60's at night. There is a covered porch with lots of seating. Bring your hummingbird feeders and you will have plenty of visitors There is a stream behind the property which gives great night music. The location is not in the town of Clyde. You would be doing most of your business in Waynesville which Google maps puts at 20 miles away. Asheville is in the other direction, an all interstate route. The owner was great to get any small repairs done. There is no cell service but she does provide Wi-Fi. There is a fire ring. My fsmily visited and we had a great time."

  • Perfect Vacation Spot!

"My husband and I and our four good friends rented this cabin for our anniversary. We could not have had a better vacation! Mr. Dobson was very welcoming and provided the upmost hospitality. The farm was very peaceful and the cabin was very warm and welcoming and relaxing! The view is gorgeous and right outside of Maggie valley and a short distance from Waynesville. We also visited Cherokee while we were there which wasn't too far either. The two dogs Clyde and Polly stole a place in my heart and made the vacation even better. We caught our first trout in the pond and really enjoyed the fire pit. We are already planning to return next year for out anniversary! You can not go wrong with this place or owner for that matter! HIGHLY recommended! Stacey"
