  • Ideal location in NC Mountains

"We stayed at Bella Vista for the holiday weekend with another couple and two kids. The owners responded to all communications and were very accommodating. The view from the house is spectacular and the location is ideal for taking advantage of the great hiking, mountain biking and exploring in the area. Highly recommend!"

  • Amazing views! You'll love it (but come prepared)

"My girlfriend and I booked this property for a romantic getaway to enjoy the fall foliage and apple season in Black Mountain. This property delivers, believe me. The fall colors and the sounds of the wind rustling through the leaves will melt years of stress off of you. You can see from Hendersonville to Black Mountain and have a private deck with no sign of anyone around (you might possibly be able to see the road below in the winter, not sure, but it's still a spectacular view). It was very windy the first night we arrived so the deck was great for brief excursions more than sitting in relaxing (the wind can really rip through the gorge!), but the view from the living room is just as good and when the wind dies down the deck is hard to beat. You don't need to go anywhere else during your trip to have an amazing time. A couple notes of caution - the property (at the time of this writing) is for sale and because of that I think they've cleared out some of the things you typically find in cabin rentals. There are plenty of pots, pans, dishes, glasses, etc but there are *NO* pantry staples at all. Make sure you bring everything you need the first night (cooking oil, paper towels, sugar, spices, charcoal for the grill, wood for the outdoor fire pit) as well as any OTC meds and bath soap (there was only hand soap available). It also appears many of the board games have been removed from downstairs so prepare if you have easily bored kiddos. If not you may have to make a 30 min trek back into town for essentials (I doubt domino's delivers). If you follow this advice you won't have a care in the world! Thanks for sharing such a great property with us!"

  • Great little home away from home

"Pat was accommodating, helpful and available as we arranged our stay at golden pond. It's a beautiful, secluded property that's still convenient to charming downtown Hendersonville, Asheville and surrounding parks and recreation. We enjoyed our stay!"

  • The house was Beautiful and immaculate.

"The beds and furniture were very comfortable and the house was superclean. Lots of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy. The outdoor living space and fireplace was great for the family. The theater room in basement provided good spaces for recreation and movie time. We would definitely return."
