  • Great Cabin with Great View

"Perfect size cabin with high ceilings, 2 decks and giant windows looking over the mountains. The directions were a little confusing as the address listed on the directions was not the actual address of the cabin. Follow the signs to the Big Swag and you will find it. Also be sure to get the wifi PW prior to."

  • News Year's in the Smokies

"We spent a wonderful week at this cabin with our family and our neighbor's family. The owner Annie was beyond helpful before we booked. She spoke with me at length about the cabin and the surrounding area. We decided that it sounded perfect for what we were looking for. However, we were still completely overwhelmed with what awaited us when we arrived. The cabin is the last cabin at the top of a mountain overlooking the Smoky Mountains. The view was breathtaking. In addition to the view, the cabin was also more than we expected. The pictures don't do it justice. The cabin itself is amazing but also the furnishings were impeccable. Annie has done a great job with the decorations that add to the feel of a "log cabin" but with high end taste. The beds all have heating pads and were very comfortable. Large closets and bathrooms were a bonus. My only suggestion would be for hangers for the guests who are staying for a longer period of time. We spent the cold nights by the beautiful fire place, playing games and listening to music. One of the best parts of the house's location (in addition to the spectacular views) is its proximity to Bryson City which we were so surprised to find. It is the cutest little town with some amazing little restaurants. We planned to cook dinner every night but ended up eating out. The house is very convenient to the city and its amenities and although the trip up the mountain is a little steep, it was so much better than lots of other cabins in the mountains. We never ran out of things to do. The cabin is so conveniently located to everything the area has to offer. We hiked the waterfalls at Deep Creek trail, we mountain biked at Tsali and we mined for gold in Cherokee, all within 30 minutes of the cabin. But really we could have spent all day in the cabin looking at the view with the kids exploring the mountain around us and been completely satisfied. Thank you to Annie for a memorable and relaxing New Year's in the mountains!"

  • Loved it!

"Royal Views was delightful. The cabin was the cleanest of any we have ever rented, the furniture in the living room and the beds were very comfortable, the hot tub well maintained and the views were amazing. Two requests to the owners would be to hang a curtain on the master bedroom French door and to use unscented detergent and/or dryer sheets for the bedding. Greatly appreciated all of the information and special directions and tips for traversing the "exciting" drive to the cabin. Very helpful to have an AWD vehicle. Will definitely rent again! Just loved it!"

  • Wonderful Cabin!

"My family and I immensely enjoyed our trip to 'Bears Den'. The cabin is in the perfect location between the NOC and Bryson City. It was very homey and had everything we needed. The kids loved the outdoor fire pit and hot tub. I hope to make it back to the mountains soon and if so I know where I'll be staying! Thanks again for the great vacation."
