  • Excellent home and renter!

"My family and I chose to spend a weekend in the mountains instead of just a day like we had done in the past. We are so thankful we found this home! Everything was super nice and the kids (grown and child lol) loved the game room! We had plenty of board games to choose from along with the air hockey table and the billiard table downstairs. We decided playing Scrabble was going to be a tradition! The home was convenient to the apple farms (which are on the main road coming off of the interstate to the house), Hendersonville (where we shopped and ate dinner), to Starbucks!!, and to several antique malls. We accidentally took one set of the keys to the house with us and the owner was super sweet about it. She generously allowed us to mail them back instead of taking it out of our deposit. Dorothy was so very easy to communicate with and she kept us updated on everything nicely talking with us on the phone several times before our arrival. One of the highlights of the home was waking up on Sunday morning and listening to the church bells play with the colored leaves in the background! This is a house you must rent!"

  • Perfect getaway!

"My two children spent a week at a camp in the area and in order to avoid one exceptionally long day of driving, we decided to travel to Hendersonville on Friday, pick the kids up Saturday morning and return home on Sunday. I am so very glad we were able to stay in this neat and clean cabin. The views from the cabin are absolutely beautiful! My son is a bit of an explorer and it was not long before he discovered the blackberries peppered on the property and on the gravel road down the mountain. He started with a handful but eventually had over 200 (yes, he counted them) so we had to drive back to town to get the ingredients for a blackberry cobbler. Our plans came about last-minute and Beth was extremely responsive and helpful (and patient...we played phone tag for a while) throughout the entire booking. I especially like the fact that there were no hidden processing fees, etc. as is often the case with other VRBO rentals. There is already discussion about going back next year! This property will not disappoint---but be warned, you really DO need AWD or 4WD for the last two miles!"

  • Unique Lodging!

"The Barn was a very unique and beautiful experience. It was like camping in a big open lodge. One private bedroom and sleeping for six more all together in an open space like a youth cabin with bunks. Very cool! We never saw the owners but had everything we needed and it was all very tastefully done! We loved it and would definitely go again."

  • Just What I Needed

"Property just as described and pictured except the place looks better than the pictures. Very accommodating. Quiet relaxing premises with hummingbirds and butterflies attracted to garden off swim spa deck. Well-appointed and very clean! Versatile space great for one to two people or a small group of family/friends. Nestled between Pisgah National Forest and downtown Hendersonville, one hears nothing but Nature, and the sound is glorious. Will definitely be back! Pamela and Dennis have done a GREAT job here!"
