  • Rested and Restored

"My husband and I desperately needed a break from the daily grind and pressures of life and reunite with family who flew in from other parts of the country. Abbey Ridge offered us the opportunity to have the needed solitude, reconnection with family, while meeting all of our needs for fun and exploration in a safe place. There is plenty to see and do in the area. We had adventurous days and relaxing evenings. The home is so comfortable and peaceful. My husband and I realized we need to refresh ourselves more often. We would definitely return to Abbey Ridge. Thank you Phillip, for your hospitality that allowed us to immediately feel right at home."

  • Wonderful stay! We Really loved the location. Great value!

"Secluded cabin close to everything we wanted to do. We saw deer, turkey and all kinds of squirrels...but no white squirrel. Overall we truly loved the place. The only criticism would be the lack of pantry items...so if you want to cook be sure to bring spices, etc. There are pleanty of pots, etc"

  • Tri- family vacation

"We enjoyed our stay at Bat Cave. We had six adults and two children and were plenty comfortable. The hot tub was nice, the kitchen was modern, the massage chair was great. The beds were some of the best we've ever had in a rental. Bruce was always available when we had questions and was very nice. I would highly recommend staying with BatCave river cottages."

  • Unique Lodging!

"The Barn was a very unique and beautiful experience. It was like camping in a big open lodge. One private bedroom and sleeping for six more all together in an open space like a youth cabin with bunks. Very cool! We never saw the owners but had everything we needed and it was all very tastefully done! We loved it and would definitely go again."
