  • Exactly as described. Charming, rustic, spacious and comfortable. Wonderful owner.

"Becky was very kind, considerate, accommodating and easy to work with. The cabin was surrounded by trees making it feel isolated yet surrounded by neighbors and close to town. Hendersonville is a delightful town filled with a lot of local flavor - lots of great shops and restaurants. And Becky has compiled a great restaurant guide for the cabin, which was a very convenient location for visiting The Biltmore. The beds were very comfortable and we especially enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and hot tub. Fabulous girls' trip!"

  • Relaxing and Peaceful/Craftsmanship!!

"What a great place to go and get away from our busy lives. Time went by way to fast for me and my wife. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and it was just what we needed. Me and my Wife loved the craftsmanship of this home. You can see the love and the details that went into it. I appreciate Scott for being such a great host. The cabin was very clean and spot on!! We loved the deck space, we even had supper outside on the homemade round table with battery powered candles. Coffee outside on the back deck every morning was awesome, especially that view!! We walked the whole property twice and enjoyed the quiet. We even walked down to the bridge and seen 2 beavers. We went to the Biltmore house on Friday and had a great time(about 25 miles away). This cabin is not far from anything you want to go to. Also for eating, I would recommend the Moose Café, it was really good, they have country cooking and also serve breakfast in the mornings(we didn't eat breakfast there only supper). All the eating places you want within 6 miles of the cabin. To top it off, I made reservations at Tupelo Honey(South Asheville location) to eat lunch after we checked out of the cabin on Sunday. I hope we can come back soon. Once again......Thanks Scott Terry"

  • Charming Cottage, Delightful Stay!

"My husband and I stayed at the Cottage in Flat Rock over a long weekend, and we had a wonderful stay. The cottage itself is very private, clean and comfortable. The cottage is charming and tucked away on a picture-perfect pond. We were able to enjoy the chimea and relax outside. The cottage is close to great hiking trails and many terrific restaurants in Flat Rock and downtown Hendersonville. Victor and Darlene were wonderful hosts. They took the time to provide us with many personalized recommendations, tell us about the town and history of the town and the house, and even provided our dog with a special locally-made dog treat. We highly recommend the Flat Rock Cottage, and cannot wait to visit again!"
