  • Everything you could ask for...even better than home. Thanks so much to Jane.

"This property has so much attention to detail ,inside & outside, it can only be expressed by seeing it. There is a reason there are only "5 STAR" reviews on this lil slice of heaven in the Highlands. Best VRBO property I've ever experienced. Jeff C."

  • Pefect Fall Weekend!

"This cottage is EVERYTHING! It is as charming in person as it is in the photos! We spent a girls' weekend here and it was the perfect backdrop to our goal which was to relax. It is conveniently located to main street but is nestled in a quiet little neighborhood. It was private and very quiet. The kitchen is well-equipped with anything you could possibly need---including a Keurig coffee machine. Each room is well-appointed. My favorite was the clawfoot bathtub in the master. You can't go wrong with this property! Highly recommend this Highlands charmer!"

  • Natural Beauty & Classic Charm; Unwind with Sunsets, Warm Hearth & Warm Hearts

"Can you bring teens, tots, seniors and the sandwhich generation together for fun in one place? We did! This home is simple, warm and classic with a big living room that opens onto a deck with a perfect view of the mountains at sunset. There is a dining room for six, but we squeezed in nine for a candlelight dinner, and could have had many more if we had set up the extra tables in the closet. The house is very well equipped for table events; card games, crafting, scrap-booking, meals, showers, packing Christmas-child boxes, or make-overs & Mary Kay parties. ( I would recommend it for a retreat or mom escape weekend, but we brought kids & introduced them all to Trivial Pursuit! ) There is a lovely working fireplace and a sense of calm and connection with nature. The walls are wood paneled and there is a lot of natural light. There are two bathrooms and two bedrooms, but also a fold out sofa and roll-away bed & pack 'n play. If you are fittness folks, downtown is an easy morning run, so you can jog out for your morning cup of coffee at Bucks. Next time I would like to come for a longer stretch and get more outdoor time in the beautiful woods, but even if you're a homebody and an introvert, the house is a lovely escape from noise and frenzy."

  • Great place to escape

"My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our four day getaway at Buck Creek. It was all that was advertised and more. Carol was most helpful with getting us in at the last minute. The house is situated in the perfect spot along a small creek that gives a constant water flowing sound for supreme relaxation. You have porches, patios, and views that will keep you relaxed all day. What a neat place. I hope to return soon. Sincerely, David C."
