  • Great value

"I LOVED my stay in the cabin. Super convenient and clean/comfortable. I must note that the house is NOT on a lake- pictures are deceiving in that regard."

  • Darling lil place!

"Cute lil place and very easy to talk with owner and arrange key and everything. It's a lil dark when trying to take the dogs out at night but we used flashlights in our phone! Beautiful stars! Quiet area, about 4 lil houses at top of gravel hill. Short drive to town of Highlands and also convenient to get to Cashiers! Very clean and decorated cute! Cozy and comfortable-thank you SO much! • No need to look any further - this is the perfect place to stay in the Highlands

"House is awesome with plenty of room inside and out with a terrific deck for viewing a large pond. My dog loved running around outside. We brought a folding Kennel with us when we'd leave for dinner. The owner is extremely nice and conscientious about your visit and truly makes you feel like he wants you to enjoy your experience in the Highlands. This place is also very close to hiking trails, waterfalls, or shops and restaurants for all dining styles (low end, average pricing, and high end). Make sure you see Sunset Rock, where I proposed to my wife 10 years ago. If you can find Iron Bridge off Bullpen Road, there's a terrific hike where you can let your dog run loose (if he comes back) that parallels a Wild and Scenic River, at the headwaters of the Chattooga. There is also Whiteside Mountain for a longer hike with awesome views. Don't forget to at least drive by White Water Falls and get out and see a huge cascading waterfall. Short walk. Great place to visit and great place to stay! Jason and Hilary"
