  • Great getaway on beautiful creek in the valley.

"Darlene, what a wonderful place to stay, the creek was great, and couldn't get grand kids out of it. You have been a wonderful host and couldn't ask for more. Thank you for your hospitality for your home on the creek. Thanks for your help with everything while we were there to help make our stay. The home and property were well maintained and clean, plenty of firewood for fire pit outside, and made memorable camp fire times with S'mores. The creek was so calming. I highly recommend this great vacation home to anyone that is wanting to get away. Many things to do close by, hiking trails and waterfalls everywhere, Brasstown Bald, Helen Tubing, Great Smokey Mountains Cherokee entrance about 1 1/4 hours away. Plenty of places to go out and eat, Our favorite is Brothers in Young Harris, need some clothes, shoes or just about anything, visit Alexanders in Blairsville, you won't believe this place out in the middle of nowhere, they have everything. Walmart's are 20 to 30 miles away in all directions. Ingles Grocery 15 miles to town. Many Local Mom and Pop stores and restaurants to suit your needs. Location is great as your on the border of North Carolina and Georgia and get the benefits both states have to offer. Thanks again Darlene."

  • Another fantastic Labor Day on the river!

"It's a good thing I don't live here, I would never accomplish anything, but floating on the river. Our two families had the best time! Everything was perfect. Thanks so much Linda!"

  • The home was beautiful and spacious for my sister's and my famiky

"We were unable to get the downstairs fireplace to light during our stay. That was the only mishap. The home met all of our needs and was close to many fun things to do, even in very cold weather. We loved it!"

  • Beautiful Mountain Cabin + Hot Tub

"This cabin has an awesome hot tub. If it were nothing more than a hot tub on top of a mountain that alone would be enough reason for you to spend your vacation here. But it is so much more than that. The cabin is super cozy and much of it is handmade. You can see this handiwork in the railings, walls, and other cabin features. It has large windows that let in a lot of natural light and really connect you with the beautiful Nantahala National Forest. It has a loft, beautiful wood flooring, and a porch perfect for immersing yourself in the sounds of remote mountain bliss. The cabin is in a clearing and at night you can sit on the deck, look up at the sky and see millions of stars. It has a fire pit so you can cook food, roast marshmallows, tell stories, and do other fire pit related activities. It is fantastic. In fact, I am kind of wondering why I'm not still there. If it were possible to give this place 10 stars, I would give it 11. I would recommend if to families, couples, singles, platonic friends, professionals, amateurs, and anyone who enjoys all the gorgeous mountain scenery North Carolina has to offer. Also, the owners of this place are some of the most gracious, kind-hearted, welcoming people you will ever meet. You can stop looking your next vacation getaway, you found it."
