  • Excellent

"We had a great experience at this cottage. It's easy to get to and in a beautiful setting. The power went out during a bad storm and the owners were very quick to respond."

  • Great getaway!

"If you want to "get away from it all", this is your place. Just an awesome place that was great for the family, plenty of room for the kids, they spent many hours in the creek. Would recommend to anyone. Hayesville is centrally located to make a lot of day trips. You will relax on this back porch I gaurentee it!"

  • Amazing property

"We needed a weekend getaway that was close to a trail that we were hiking on Sunday. This was the perfect place tucked back in the woods. My mood can only be described as giddy as I took in all the views from around the property. A great fire pit with endless wood is supplied. We took advantage of this both nights. Smores, brats on the fire, delicious.......all while viewing an endless clear sky of stars in the evening and listening to the relaxing creek a few yards away. The cabin is very open and allows for great views too. If you need more space, the house next door is also available to rent. Linda is by far the most accommodating host I have ever seen. She met us when we got there, maps in hand and full of information about the area. She gave us this really nice gift basket with teas, cookies and a nice coffee mug, which I claimed (the others wanted it!). There is a small tavern 1/4 mile away, and we didn't get a chance to go, but it looked like a really cute place with open deck and live music. We had to get up relatively early on Sunday morning and almost thought about canceling our hike just so we could stay at the cabin a couple more hours. It was definitely the highlight of the weekend. I will be back. In my mind I have claimed it as my own!"
