  • Awesome

"My family and friends stayed the week of July 4th and couldn't have been happier. The property was exceptional and the house was very well kept. Also, within a short drive to many of the local sites. We personally enjoyed Fires Creek the most. The owner was also very helpful with questions"

  • Simply Wonderful

"Cabin is set up for a great get away to relax and enjoy Lake Chatuge. Well maintained, clean, awesome views from screened back deck, easy access to the lake and dock. Fire pit by the lake in the evening topped the cake! The owner, Mr. Joe is awesome as well. Enjoyed our time here over spring break and plan to return. K Burdette"

  • Awesome Short Getaway - Need More Time Next Visit

"We had such a great time at Bella Vista. We were only there for 2 nights, but we enjoyed every moment of it. Monica and Ed have the cottage all set up so you really don't need to bring much other than some food if you want to cook and your clothing. We had a couple of questions while we were there and texted Monica and Ed and they responded right away. There were even snacks provided and the cottage is very clean. The views are magnificent! We spent most of our time on the deck enjoying the weather and the mountains. We also love nature, so being so close to many birds was a special treat. We saw a rabbit, but unfortunately didn't see any deer or any bears. I guess it was fortunate we didn't see any bears if I really think about it. We shopped in Hiawassee, had dinner there a couple of times and hiked Jackrabbit Trail. We did miss the Bear Meadows Restaurant. It is no longer there. We did like the new rib restaurant in town. I loved shopping at Deb Collins Gallery. I go there every time to get gifts to take back home. Lake Chatuge is great if you have a boat. No complaints on our visit at all. Monica and Ed have thought of everything. We just wish we had been able to stay longer."
