  • Great vacation spot!!

"We arrived late after a long drive from Florida. There were a couple of issues with the original rental. The owners were really accomodating and made the situation work out. It turned out to be a great experience. The property is so peaceful and beautiful, we highly recommend this location for any family get together or just a relaxing get away. We are very thankful for the oportunity to stay at such a great location."

  • The Perfect Mountain Top Retreat!!

"Be ready to take in breath taking views of the lake and surrounding mountains... Off the front porch one can see Bell Knob and the tallest point in Georgia, Brasstown Bald (approximately 4,800'). Off the back porch you get a stunning view of Lake Chatuge from a vantage point of about 2,750' above sea level. You are on the ridge of a mountain with views all around. The house has everything you would need or want. Plenty of games, wifi, high quality TV's, a wood burning fireplace (we used it every night), grill, huge porches with rocking chairs and swings, big bedrooms etc, and binoculars to really appreciate the amazing view. I had never been to Hayesville, North Carolina, however, it is situated very close to Georgia and surrounded by other nice towns like Hiawassee, Young Harris, Blairsville, Murphy and Franklin. Some of our trip highlights were hiking on the Jack Rabbit Hiking Trails, horse back riding at Chunky Gal Stables, visiting the Cherokee Homestead exhibit/Hayesville Historic Jail/museum, visiting Brasstown Bald Mountain observatory MUST SEE (maybe 30 minutes away), enjoyed world class dinner at The Copper Door in downtown Hayesville, had great Burgers and Ice Cream at "Best Lil Corner" (also in Hayesville) and relaxing to a wood burning fireplace at night. The property owners were very helpful and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. The house exceeded our expectations. We will be back for sure in the future and maybe try a visit in the spring time or summer to enjoy the gorgeous lake..."
