  • Family Christmas and New Year's Celebration in the Mountains

"We had such an amazing time together celebrating Christmas and bringing in the New Year all at once! What a beautiful mountain home with room to spread out! Everything we needed was there...we just showed up with food and family and settled right in. We had a wonderful time playing pool, walking in the secured and gated community, shopping in downtown Hayesville, with great antique stores also, and fishing in the beautiful stream that you can hear from the covered porch. We can't wait to gather here again!"

  • Love the creek!

"Owner was very responsive and helpful during the booking process. When we arrived there was everything and more that we needed! She had treats for the kids and our two dogs along with a mug full of popcorn, hot cocoa and tea. The sound of the rushing creek behind the house was wonderful! The kids loved the playhouse. The only thing disappointing was there were no fish in the creek or the pond. My husband and I were hoping to do some fishing but it just didn't work out. There also wasn't a lot of hot water for baths or showers but I loved the claw foot tub, just wished I could have filled it with hot water. My husband has already recommended your place to a coworker. We are even thinking about returning when the weather is a bit warmer. Overall a good experience."

  • Beautiful Mountain Cabin + Hot Tub

"This cabin has an awesome hot tub. If it were nothing more than a hot tub on top of a mountain that alone would be enough reason for you to spend your vacation here. But it is so much more than that. The cabin is super cozy and much of it is handmade. You can see this handiwork in the railings, walls, and other cabin features. It has large windows that let in a lot of natural light and really connect you with the beautiful Nantahala National Forest. It has a loft, beautiful wood flooring, and a porch perfect for immersing yourself in the sounds of remote mountain bliss. The cabin is in a clearing and at night you can sit on the deck, look up at the sky and see millions of stars. It has a fire pit so you can cook food, roast marshmallows, tell stories, and do other fire pit related activities. It is fantastic. In fact, I am kind of wondering why I'm not still there. If it were possible to give this place 10 stars, I would give it 11. I would recommend if to families, couples, singles, platonic friends, professionals, amateurs, and anyone who enjoys all the gorgeous mountain scenery North Carolina has to offer. Also, the owners of this place are some of the most gracious, kind-hearted, welcoming people you will ever meet. You can stop looking your next vacation getaway, you found it."

  • This lovely place is just that, LOVELY!

"We were absolutely happy with our stay. The house is clean inside and out, beautifully furnished and well equipped . All four of us commented several times that this is the best place we have stayed, and we have been coming up to the mountains for years. Would love to return in the spring. Thank you, Tammy"
