  • Getaway!

"Very cozy cabin with stunning lake views! Very clean, leaves were blown, etc. Owner great to work with, indoor gas logs were very nice in the cozy den area. Will recommend!"

  • The best vacation house we ever visited!!!

"This house is absolutely fabulous. It's so clean and cozy. It accommodated our family perfectly. The kids walked in the creek everyday , and never once asked to watch TV. We made our own meals and ate outside on most nights. The kitchen was very well equipped. I really loved the upstairs bedroom, with the screened deck overlooking the water. It's apparent that the owners have taken a great deal of care and attention to provide a wonderful cabin. We look forward to coming back."

  • Delightful Cabin, Creek, and Pond in Picturesque Mountain Valley

"We could not have had a more delightful vacation than our week on Compass Creek. The cabin is clean, well-furnished, and comfortable, with a delightful screened porch overlooking the pond and creek. The sounds of the creek, the rustic fire-pit with Adirondack chairs, and the gorgeous fall colors combined to provide a uniquely memorable experience. In fact, we hardly wanted to take day trips since the setting was so enjoyable. The Tusquittee Valley community in which the cabin lies is unique also. Life revolves around the rustic Tusquittee tavern (maybe 2 miles away) where food, music, and fun are in abundance. The permanent folks welcomed us short-timers in for barbeque night, steak night, and live band night. Suffice it to say, a good time was had! Our visit on the creek was way too short! Tracey, the owner, was lovely to deal with. We can't wait to go back!"
