  • Inspiring Cabin

"Thank you for allowing us to stay at this beautiful cabin. We brought the entire family and had a mini-reunion of sorts. We built fires at night and the kids hunkered themselves in the game room downstairs. We were really impressed at how clean the cabin was. The beds were comfortable and everything we needed was in the cabin. Location is great and we visited Innovation Brewery during our stay several times. We also went rafting in Nantahala and drove through the Smoky Mountain Park and saw elk. It was a memorable vacation and I'm so glad that we chose it to have it at 'Timberidge'."

  • Absolutely Beautiful and Peaceful

"In April 2016 we had the pleasure of staying at Rivers Whisper Retreat. Its an absolute beautiful cabin located on the river with beautiful views of the mountains. The cabin is wonderful inside and out, and we had the most peaceful stay. One of the most relaxing vacation spots we have ever visited. We will definitely stay again in the future and recommend it to others. The home accommodated 3 adult couples with three King bedrooms and separate bathrooms for each. It also has a separate bunk bedroom for children."

  • Loved the Seclusion and Quiet in the Cabin!

"We were blessed to have the opportunity to spend the whole month of August at the Hage's fully equipped cabin. We wanted a secluded and quiet place to spend the month, and this cabin met all of our expectations! No road or air traffic, and great views of the night sky. We enjoyed many hours rocking on the porch watching the local wildlife. Many birds and critters frequented the seed pots that Jim continually keeps full. We loved seeing the wild turkey family grow in front of our eyes! Definitely enjoyed building fire in the pit and roasting marshmallows for s'mores. Hiking up Parrish Branch Road from the cabin revealed four small waterfalls, .2, .6, 1.1 and 1.6 miles up the mountain. We enjoyed listening to the cascading water while eating a small breakfast at the quaint gazebo at the third waterfall. Pinnacle Park is only four miles away, and the park trails lead to great views of the mountains and valley from Pinnacle Point and Blackrock. The Blue Ridge Parkway was only nine miles away. We can easily see ourselves rocking on their porch next summer!"

  • Mountain Paradise

"The gentle wind whispers through the mighty hemlocks...the cheerful birds flit amongst the ivy vines...the crystal water makes its lovely music as it twists and falls across the sturdy mountain rocks...it is truly a beautiful day on Walnut Creek Road...! We loved every minute that we spent at this well-appointed, clean cabin nestled beside a breath-taking waterfall. The trail to the top of the falls is easy and enjoyable due to the wide, deck steps. It is a perfect place to relax and appreciate the beauty of the mountains."
