  • Rain didn't ruin our stay!!!

"CiCi was extremely accommodating! We overlooked the line in her email that stated how to get in. When we arrived we called her and she was at the house within minutes to help. The cabin was beautiful and clean! There were plenty of dishes to make meals at the cabin. We BBQ one day and the gas grill work flawlessly. We had our 9 m/o and 2.5 y/o boys. They had a great time exploring inside and outside. There is a nice big yard for them to play. Just be careful to watch the little ones near the creeks. Unfortunately it was a little chilly and rainy for creek. Weaverville is a nice quiet town with everything you'd need without having to go to Asheville if you don't want to. Asheville was a short 15-20minute drive. The Blue Ridge Parkway is a short 4 mile drive. I did morning bike rides up ox creek (try and stay off reems creek) to the BRP and from there you can do a 24 mile loop to town or just cruise on the parkway. There was plenty of climbing and scenery to keep anyone happy. Overall from a cyclist and dads point of view I wouldn't have changed a thing. We had a great time. Thanks CiCi!!!!"

  • Wonderful cabin with great amenities!

"What a wonderful week we had in Asheville, thanks to Maggie and her team. Their cabin is spacious, clean, comfortable and simply perfect! While it is close to Asheville and all that the area has to offer, it is nestled in the woods and feels very private. The large back deck with rocking chairs and comfortable seating was a great place to sit and have morning coffee, while listening to the birds chirping. There were many times that we thought that we could easily live there on a more permanent basis. Anyone planning a trip should strongly consider staying here; I am sure will will do so again in the near future!"

  • Perfect Retreat

"This quaint cabin is twice the size of a tiny house and suits 2 people nicely. TLC is an easy drive to the Biltmore and is situated up on a hill so from the back porch there is a nice view. We spent evenings on the porch relaxing on the nice rocking chairs. The interior is knotty pine with beamed ceiling so it's a warm and inviting place. Kitchen well stocked. Roberta is fantastic to work with and we would not hesitate to rent this place again."

  • Great Get Away Cabin and With an Awesomely, Helpful Owner

"We stayed at the Silver Moon while we visited the Asheville area, Blue Ridge Parkway, and Biltmore House. The cabin as at an excellent location, nearby for many sights, and such a wonderful choice for a place to stay. Mary provides so many wonderful extras, like directions to places we might want to go, restaurant recommendations, etc. There are some great restaurants nearby, and we really appreciated the information about which restaurants are good in the area. The little touches like coffee, tea, leaving the light on, etc. made it feel like home. We were so thankful to have the cozy cabin for relaxing in the evening. If / when we return to the Asheville area, we will definitely plan on staying in this cabin again.. It was awesome!"
