  • wonderful family vacation

"Ourfamily of 6 really enjoyed our week long stay in this cabin. The space was perfect for us. Having a place to do wash was perfect after lots of hikes and playing in mountain streams. We went to Ashville, Cherokee, Bryson City, and Gaitlenburg and found the location to be very central for what we water to see. The owner was a delight to work with as well!"

"My husband and I wanted a nice, quiet little get-away from all the hustle and bustle of life and this was it!! The cabin was very well kept, clean, and had all amenities needed. The owner's were great in telling you what you needed to bring. The hot tub was fantastic and our dogs loved the back porch to sit and chill while my husband and I hung out in the hot tub. The cabin is only about 25-30 minutes away from Asheville and some smaller little towns (Canton and Waynesville), but far enough out that you feel as though you are having a truly mountain experience. The ONLY negative would be that the cabin is close to the road, however, in all honesty, it's a little country road so there is not a lot of traffic. Also, some of the towels and wash cloths smelled a little sour, as though they had been left in the washer too long; but nothing that we couldn't fix! Other than that, this cabin was all that we hoped for! We truly enjoyed ourselves. We didn't get a chance to write in the guestbook there and share our experience so we wanted to do it here! The first day we road the Blue Ridge Parkway and hiked some trails. The next day, we had a scheduled tour at the Biltmore. It was beautiful. Before our tour, we went to Asheville and had lunch at Pack's Tavern (this place is a must). All in all, our little vacation was absolutely wonderful and the owner's of this cabin attributed to that. I would definatley recommend this awesome gem to anyone wanting a quick get-away or nice long vacation. Thank you again for your hospitality!!"
