  • Happy "campers"

"My family spent our 4th of July holiday at Ridgetop. We loved it! The views were amazing. The mountain house was spacious with an open floor plan perfect for family cooking and dining. We had plenty of space between the downstairs game room and upstairs master and other rooms. But the best part was the location! We enjoyed Maggie Valley, Waynesville (with local parade and evening entertainment) and of course GSMNP! The owner of Ridgetop was responsive and helpful. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed at our fingertips. It was certainly a vacation to remember! The cabin was also great for young children- easily accessible, good layout, and great furnishings."

  • Location, Location, Location

"Like they say in real estate, it's all about location. This rental is located on a dead-end, very short road...just a minute to the main drag where all the action is. There is more than enough room for a large family yet still cozy enough for a romantic stay for two. As far as restaurants go, I give high praise to J. Arthur's where the service, atmosphere and food will make you smile and leave you satisfied. If you like seafood try Maggie's Galley in Waynesville. If you can't catch a trout in the creek to save your soul, then visit a trout pond and you won't leave troutless. Early in the week the area seems more clam and relaxed compared to end of the week/weekend activities."

  • Cozy Comfortable Convenient

"We stayed in this cabin to ring in the new year in 2014 and we did it again this year. We love this cabin, how cozy it is but more importantly the comfort and convenience it brings. 3bd/3ba so no sharing necessary. Everyone has their privacy which is a great feature. The common areas are spacious and tastefully designed. We will definitely return to this cabin if we can."

  • Perfect for a Relaxing Family Vacation with Dogs

"The cabin was perfect for our family trip. We spent 4 nights at the cabin with our family and our dogs. The deck with the gates was perfect for our pets. The dogs were able to lay around outside on the deck and entertain themselves. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck playing cards and listening to music. The cabin is clean and well appointed with cable, internet, and fully equipped kitchen. There is a pit in the backyard - perfect for an evening sitting by the fire. The house feels much more isolated than it is - love that. I highly recommend for a relaxing vacation. Waynesville is nearby for dinner and shopping. Best of all was the temperate of 72 degrees in the middle of July. We are now missing that cooler weather. Kathy was great to deal with - extended our stay by 1 night because we were not anxious to leave."
