  • Very nice!

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this house for our ski trip to Cataloochee. The house is very conveniently located in the center of Maggie Valley, very close to the ski resort. It's also close to the major road and about 40 mins away from Ashville. It has a large fenced yard and offers a lot of privacy. The three bedrooms are good sized. The house is clean, however, it stored a lot stuff in the closet and laundry room. The very best part of this house is that it provides everything you need in the kitchen, including even zip bags and aluminum foil. We really enjoyed our stay."

  • Absolutely GORGEOUS cabin

"We spent 3 glorious nights at the Ultimate Treehouse and it did not disappoint. The views on the porch were astounding and just what we were looking for <3 The owners were quick to respond and the cabin was very well equipped. Our grandson who attends Western Carolina was able to spend those nights with us, we went to Asheville, Harrah's in Cherokee and enjoyed a quick trip on the Blueridge Parkway...with all in close proximity! The firepit was one thing we really, really searched for along with a great mountain view and the Ultimate Treehouse was all that and then some. We really, really enjoyed our little getaway."

  • Accommodating

"The cabin was quaint and accommodating for our party of four. It certainly could handle a few more and be comfortable. Three levels of bedrooms allows for privacy if needed. We had some rainy weather so it was hard to enjoy the hot tub and fire pit. If you want to be alone this is a nice place. If you want to be close to Ashville for events then you could be closer staying on north side of city. Owners easy to work with."

  • Fantastic mountain view

"Our 2 week stay at the Ponderosa was wonderful! We saw the elk almost every evening on Long Branch & Black Camp Gap Rds. The mountain view is perfect and watching the humming birds & chipmunks is always fun! Long Branch Rd. was rather challenging... although I drive a Jeep Wrangler, my boyfriend had a Chevy Malibu & had some trouble getting up the road. This was the 2nd time renting a cabin in Maggie is a great area with easy access to Blue Ridge Pkwy. Visited Biltmore Estate in Asheville (a must-see!!), waterfall hike in Pisgah Nat'l Forest, Cataloochee Valley, & many scenic drives. Good restaurants: Frankie's, Joey's Pancake House, Frog's Leap (Waynesville), Andolini's & Southern Table. Definitely would like to visit again during "leaf season"!"
