  • Storybook vacation!

"We wanted to experience as much of NC as we could in a week, and we got our wish. Being in Maggie Valley, we were never more than an hour from everything we wanted to do, except perhaps Biltmore, which wasn't much farther really. And it was always a beautiful welcome when we returned from our adventures. The house and property are simply lovely and a delight for both kids and adults. We have four children, but there was plenty of room for everyone. My youngest couldn't stay away from the creek running through the yard, and we enjoyed smores and fireflies nearly every evening by the fire pit. The adults appreciated the hot tub to soak away tired muscles in the evening. The owners were very nice and everything was well thought out and easy to find and use. We are hoping to return next year during the winter if we can, and see what the skiing and other winter activities are like!"

  • Beautiful Falcon Ridge

"It was a joy to visit Falcon Ridge again. Ironically we had booked the same week this year that we had 4 years ago (our first visit). The location is just great and the view from the mountain top is fabulous! I read some of the other reviews while visiting and I could understand their feelings when riding the winding mountain to the top for the first time. It is a little scary but after a few trips all that is behind you. We love to visit the local shops and restaurants in Maggie Valley but out true adventure is getting in the truck and riding the roads to places like Cataloochee and Cade's Cove to see the bear and elk. On our first visit, we were fortunate to arrive at Cataloochee early one morning as the elk were coming out of the woods. We have some great photos and movies of that adventure. We also visited Clingman's Dome, Cherokee and rode into Gatlinburg. Although we were a little late in the season visiting, there still was some great color and we got some great photos and movies of our trip. What better place to relax, after an adventurous day, than the comfort of Falcon Ridge (it's like home away from home). The home is always neat and clean and all the amenities you would ever need however long your stay. When friends ask "Where did you stay?" I always gladly give them all the details about Falcon Ridge! One sad note about our stay this time, is the fires that were going on nearby. Since our visit, Gatlinburg has been devastated by the fires and our prayers go out to all the families in the area that are affected by this tragedy. We love the mountains of NC and Falcon Ridge!"

  • Great Vacation Cabin

"Great rental! The cabin was really clean and everything was in great shape. All of the activities in the game room were in great shape. The owners were really easy to work with and made sure that you had a great time in their house. My friends and I would absolutely rent this cabin again."
