  • Reunion at Frog Holler

"My family from Michigan and my South Carolina family met at Frog Holler for our annual reunion. There were ten total people in attendance and I was afraid the Farmhouse would be too small, but the bedrooms were spacious and there was ample room in the loft/library for the children to sleep on the floor. Although there was no air conditioning and the daytime temps were in the 90's, the afternoon rainstorms and cool mountain breezes kept us comfortable. The property was well maintained and the furnishing's comfy. It was a pleasure to sit on the front porch or, more often, on the large deck reminiscing and laughing while the children played hide and seek and caught fireflies in the dark. The flowers and landscaping are just beautiful, and the fresh country air and sounds of chickens and cows are soothing. It was located in the country, but close enough to town and attractions for the kids. I would definitely return."

  • Like home

"My husband, dog and I spent from mid-October through November at the Mint Cottage. We really enjoyed staying in a place that felt like home. We work remotely, so the house was a perfect size for us. We used the 2nd and 3rd rooms/ bedrooms as offices. We loved the backyard. Even though you are walking distance to downtown Asheville, the backyard makes you feel like you are far from town. The property backs up to a creek and a wooded area. We loved the location. You can walk to the grocery store (there are two!), the Asheville Yoga Center, High Five coffee, and a few restaurants (HomeGrown, Luella's BBQ). It takes about 20 to 30 minutes to walk to downtown and it is hilly. We loved this area so much that we moved into the house right next door! So, please feel free to say hello if you stay at the Mint Cottage! We are in the bright blue house :)"

  • Loved the little cottage

"The stay was very enjoyable! Everything was clean and quaint. The location in town could not be better with a access to downtown Hendersonville. Thankful to Lilly for an enjoyable stay and hope to return soon."
