  • New Years Getaway ...

"This truly is a mountain sanctuary .. This year myself and a group of friends, 8 total decided to go to a relaxing mountain cabin for New Years rather than a busy city or bars for the night .. We made the perfect choice !!! This cabin is beautifully located on a mountain top overlooking Georgia and Tennessee .. The cabin has every possible amenity you could think of from the extensive collection of books, privacy, wifi, walking trails and large hot tub .. We stayed in and cooked every evening in the gourmet kitchen that has everything you could ever need including a wine cooler for the champagne .. Every room in the house has a breathtaking view of the mountains .. Its hard to explain how wonderful it really is so If you are on the look out for a relaxing couples, family or friends getaway I strongly recommend Wolf Peaks Lodge .."

  • Great Value

"The chalet was large, clean and very well-equipped. We decided on a very last minute trip and the owner, Paul, made arrangements over the phone with me for us to meet the caretaker who was very friendly. We cooked every night and had everything we needed to do so. We came to raft, kayak and hike. We had a little less than an hour's drive to the Nantahala River and about an hour to the HIawassee River at Reliance, TN. We also spent a day on Lake Hiawassee (about half an hour). (The Ocoee Outdoor Center is about thirty to forty minutes) The marina at Bear Paw Resort was great and reasonably priced for boat rentals. We also spent several hours at the Fires Creek Recreational Area in the National Forest which was about twenty minutes away. It has a beautiful creek and waterfall. The chalet is as pictured; however, the view has diminished quite a bit from when the photos were taken due to trees growing up in front of the deck. Overall, a good centrally located "home base" for those wanting to explore a wide area at an very reasonable price."

  • Perfect for six!

"My husband and I joined two other couples at this cabin for a fall weekend. The cabin has a wonderful porch and the interior is nicely done. The kitchen was well stocked with one tiny exception. The can opener needs replacing. The bedding was clean and comfortable and the bathrooms sized well. The cabin was clean and in very good condition. It was quickly accessible to the town of Murphy and other areas."

"We had a great weekend! We stayed for a bachelorette weekend and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The cabin was great. Amazing view! The Calaboose Cellars in Andrews was phenomenal & the closeness to the casino was a big perk! We would definitely stay again!"
