  • A wonderful stay!

"Beautiful property! Everything was immaculate and the details the owners included simplified our packing/preparation. We loved exploring the area and sharing time on the deck, sipping wine by the river and roasting marshmallows over the campfire. Thank you!"

  • Great cabin with a wonderful view

"My fiancee and I definitely enjoyed our weekend trip in the mountains, especially since we could wake up to a view like that every morning and enjoy the peace and quiet. It's a great location too since it is not far from Bryson city and there's plenty to do in the area. I hope to come back at some point so I can enjoy the mountains again and get a nice break from the city life."

  • Fall weekend

"Our family of four adults and four kids stayed here four nights this past weekend..we were in the area looking for property and to visit friends...this cabin approach is not for the faint of heart...I am very nervous in winding roads and sheer drop doesn't bother my daughter and son in law, who lived in Asheville for years..this cabin is Way!! up there!!! It is as beautiful as pictured, with plenty of room for ten...well appointed with everything in the kitchen you could need...beds are comfy, fireplace is nice, it was very clean...My husband and I are older, and the only complaint I have is the noise level upstairs in the kid's bedroom and bath is directly transferred through the floor to the master suite....these log cabins are impossible to insulate I guess, but if you go to bed early and the kids are upstairs tromping around, maybe stay downstairs!!! All in all, this cabin is as described and very comfortable...easy access to Franklin and surrounding areas....just be forewarned if heights and narrow winding roads are not your cup of tea..esp at night...Also, I have a bad hip at present and there are just a couple steps into the cabin and if you stay in the master you are good to go....if mobility is a problem....Also the manager is very helpful and is easy to reach by phone if you have a problem or question..."
