  • A wonderful stay!

"Beautiful property! Everything was immaculate and the details the owners included simplified our packing/preparation. We loved exploring the area and sharing time on the deck, sipping wine by the river and roasting marshmallows over the campfire. Thank you!"

  • Peaceful Getaway

"My husband and I spent the weekend at The Little House for our anniversary. Millie made us feel right at home and provided extra treats which was such a nice personal touch. It was so peaceful and relaxing at the cabin. We wish we could have stayed longer. We were pleasantly surprised at how great the hot tub worked. I highly recommend going to Otter Creek Trout farm just a few miles from the cabin, and a few miles from the trout farm is Tellico Gap. The strenuous 1.4 mile hike to the Wesser Bald Outlook Tower is well worth it. The views from the tower are amazing."

  • What a view!

"We decided we wanted to spend Christmas in the mountains and we were not disappointed by our stay in this cabin. One of the best mountain views I have ever experienced at a cabin. The cabin is in a very quiet setting. No one bothered us at all. While there is a cabin just up the hill from this one, you barely even knew anyone was there. The mountains are gorgeous, the drive up is like a postcard and we enjoyed one of the best stays we have experienced in this area. The cabin is very quaint and family-oriented and the kitchen had just about anything you would need. I only have three recommendations for anyone looking to stay here. 1) Don't hesitate because you won't regret it. 2) Be sure you take everything you need because the location is kind of remote and it's no easy jaunt into town if you forgot something. 3) Utilize either a four wheel drive, an all wheel drive vehicle, or at least one that is weighted evenly as we had issues getting up the last hill to the cabin in our Toyota Tundra after it rained. Our kids, in their Kia Sedona van, made it just fine though. Again, the even weight distribution is the key, or all wheel drive at least. Stay here! You won't regret it, I promise!"

  • Third Stay - Now viewing it as my mountain retreat

"We have stayed at this wonderfully appointed home three times is the past two years. It is impeccably maintained. The home is ideal for two couples or families with full baths, bedrooms and sitting areas on each level. The kitchen is well laid out and the washer and dryer work very well. We most enjoy sitting on the back deck and visiting. You feel like you are completely removed from any bustle and are alone in the woods while still being super close to so many activities whether you want to: hike, paddle, gem mine, mountain bike or zip line."
