  • The scenery was beautiful.

"Thank you for sharing your homes with us. We enjoyed ourselves and had a very memorable Thanksgiving holiday there. It was very peaceful and relaxing. We encountered a couple of problems with the Camp Alexander cabin, but left a note for the cleaning people about them. The electrical plugs on both sides of the stove were bad and there was a leak under the kitchen sink. The plug on the left side of the stove caused the coffee pot wire to burn. Thankful I was standing beside it when it happened, so there was no damage. I bought a new coffee pot and left it there for you and also purchased one for the Honeymoon cabin, because there was only a small one there. We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent at your cabins and have already recommended them to someone. Again, thank you for the use of your cabins. They were very clean and well stocked. You might want to invest in a small mixer, since I needed one and didn't have one there."

  • Top Notch Cabin. Even better home owner.

"From start to finish Ted Masters was a class act. He personally ensured my family and I had everything we needed to have a fantastic vacation. There were 6 of us in our party and the cabin accommodated us wonderfully. The cabin has everything you need in the kitchen, the bedroom and the family room. Beautifully decorated cabin with vaulted ceilings. But outside is where you want to be with majestic views. And coming from San Diego, I forgot what stars should look like at night. Will definitely stay here again. Thanks again, Ted."

  • Beautiful views from the "Mountain Top"!

"After a shaky start with things beyond the owner's control (water line break on the mountain and cable service out) we were able to enjoy our time at the Mountain Top home. The owner was very helpful and accessible by phone to help work out these two issues quickly. The home has a wonderful porch with beautiful views of the mountains. Plenty of room inside for 5-6 people comfortably. We only used the bottom floor bedroom for our visit. The interior was nice and spacious. This was our first time staying at a place up on a mountain and it was nice being surrounded by trees and enjoying the breezes especially from the porch swing. We took day trips and it was nice to be able to return "home" at the end of each day. To future renters...follow the owner's directions to the house and you will find it with no problems!"

  • Beautiful Mountain Views!

"What an awesome view from this beautiful cabin! My husband and I and our two boys 13 & 11, loved everything about this cabin. First, it was very clean and had everything we needed. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were big. The kitchen had everything you needed for cooking. We were able to make many meals at the cabin and also used the grill. Nice washer and dryer, it was really helpful to have, especially when traveling with kids. The cabin was close to town, which had grocery stores and lots of restaurants. Great location, we were able to go gem mining, waterfall exploring, train riding and was also close enough to the Smoky Mountains and Gatlinburg. The climb up the driveway to the cabin was a little steep, but we managed ok with our van. Would definitely stay here again! The owner was very nice and responded very quickly. If you go, you must drive to the top of Wayah Bald...it is breathtaking!"
