  • Ultimate Mountain Biker Basecamp

"For a group of guys that were in the area for a few days of mountain biking this house exceeded all of our expectations. The house and property were beautiful, it was nice to come back to such comfortable accommodations after a long day of bike riding. We really enjoyed cooking out on the back patio. Location was ideal. We were close to downtown Brevard, craft breweries, and the mountain bike trails at both Dupont and Pisgah Forests. Looking forward to staying here again!"

  • No Room for Improvement

"What an incredibly delightful place! The very private location makes guests feel like they are living alone on that beautiful mountain. And yet, less than 3 miles down the mountain you are back to civilization. The furnishings are tastefully unique, with a rustic touch and gorgeous antiques. Being there was like staying at the home of a friend who was temporarily away. Our two grandchildren loved the Moonshine Shack and we all loved the serenity and view from the deck. With nearby Sliding Rock and amazing hiking trails, there is so much to do--if that's what you like. We grandparents spent our time on the covered deck in the very comfortable furniture, reading and doing needlework, while our elderly dog slept at our feet. How could it be better? P.S. The excellent and accurate photos cannot capture the warm atmosphere and beauty of the place. We plan to return next summer."

  • Awesome!!!

"Came for a mountain bike weekend. Couldn't ask for a better place. Very central location to DuPont and Pisgah. Just a couple miles from Oskar Blues and The Hub. 10 outa 10."

  • Just what was needed

"This is a little piece of paradise. Just what was needed, piece and tranquility. Cabin was rustic but very comfortable Sitting on porch watching sunrise come up over the mountain top got the day off to a great start. My daughter brought up her horses and immensely enjoyed the trails around the property. This location is far enough away to have the quietness we desired but close enough to enjoy the amenities if the surrounding cities. We will definitely return."
