  • Ultimate Mountain Biker Basecamp

"For a group of guys that were in the area for a few days of mountain biking this house exceeded all of our expectations. The house and property were beautiful, it was nice to come back to such comfortable accommodations after a long day of bike riding. We really enjoyed cooking out on the back patio. Location was ideal. We were close to downtown Brevard, craft breweries, and the mountain bike trails at both Dupont and Pisgah Forests. Looking forward to staying here again!"

  • Fabulous Time!

"We rented the cabin for two weeks in November and had the best time. The cabin is such a great size for two or eight. The Kitchen is such a great size and it's fun to cook overlooking the mountains. We loved sitting on the huge deck! Also we had a fire almost every day which was so special. The Pisqah National Forest and DuPont State Park are so close and there are lots of great hiking opportunities. We really enjoyed the town of Brevard with its cute shops and bakery. So much fun to sit outside at Oscar Blues Brewery too! We had so much fun we are going again two times next year. Thanks to Lisa, the owner, and Brad, the property manager."

  • beautiful settimg

"We had such a good time. We fished in the pond, loved watching the horses. The back porch was the perfect place to eat a meal or rest in a rocking chair. We hiked trails around Brevard, saw waterfalls, slid down rocks into beautiful pools. The rhododendron was blooming. The gravel road driving to the cabin is like a rhododendron arbor, beautiful. We had 3 adults and 2 children, so we had plenty of room in the cabin. The cabin is very well maintained and well furnished with antiques. We hope to make it an annual trip."

  • Perfect spot for getaway

"The Bear Ridge and Moonshine Cabins were perfect and the amenities included were as ideal as the location. The two bedroom/two bath Bear Ridge Cabin was beautiful inside and the wrap around porch plus two huge decks allowed us to enjoy the peaceful quiet of the deep, mountainside woods. Our 15 yr old thoroughly enjoyed having the adjacent Moonshine Cabin as his own getaway from Mom & Dad and little brother. The location was at once secluded and remote while also mere minutes from groceries, ice cream, and the Pisgah National Forest entrance. During our week-long stay we managed several waterfall hikes, whitewater rafting (NOC-French Broad), fly fishing (Davidson River Outfitters), zip lining (The Gorge), a visit to the Biltmore Estate, and some great meals in Asheville and Brevard while also carving out crucial time to just sit on the deck and listen to the wisdom of the breeze in the trees. These are well-maintained vacation properties perfect for family or small group mountain getaways. We will indeed come back for more."
