  • Beautiful Cabin on Little Tennessee River

"We had a blast catching fish and tubing in the Little Tennessee River just at the bottom of the hill at the cabin. The cabin has everything you need to make your own meals, full washer and dryer, and comfy beds. Cell phones don't work well in the cabin but they have placed a booster and it helps but we were on vacation so didn't really need our phones too much. We were able to have a fire and s'mores by the river. There was plenty of firewood on site so you don't have to buy any. We hiked all around the Cherokee Landing grounds to see deer and squirrel. There is a suspension bridge just right up the road from cabin that the kids had fun going over. Bryson City, Nantahala Outdoor Center (whitewater rafting and zip lining), Smokies Mountain NP for some hikes to see waterfalls, and Highland for more falls (Cullasaja, Dry, Bridal, and Bust Your Butt Falls) are not to far from the cabin and make great day trips. Like other reviews said make sure to stop in Franklin at a grocery store or the Walmart before heading to cabin. Victoria was prompt with any questions we had. If we are in the area again we definitely will see if Victoria has room for us! The one thing we wished the cabin had was a table on the deck to have meals on."

  • Amazing!

"We chose this location because of 2 main factors. First, the unbelievable views and second, the overwhelming reviews of the property and owner. We were not disappointed! Alex met us as we arrived and made us feel so welcome and was very appreciative of us choosing his cabin. The only unfortunate part of our trip was the smoke from the surrounding fires. It really hindered our view and our plans to go exploring. Alex was so accommodating and offered to let us stay longer ,if no other guests were scheduled, due to the smoke. That gesture just put he and his place up another notch. We didn't end up staying longer as the smoke continued to get worse but we will definitely be back and our first choice will be with Alex's cozy cabin with the most spectacular views. Thanks again Alex! We were sorry we couldn't get up with you before we left but look forward to seeing you again soon! Rusty and Christy"

  • Beautiful Mountain Cabin + Hot Tub

"This cabin has an awesome hot tub. If it were nothing more than a hot tub on top of a mountain that alone would be enough reason for you to spend your vacation here. But it is so much more than that. The cabin is super cozy and much of it is handmade. You can see this handiwork in the railings, walls, and other cabin features. It has large windows that let in a lot of natural light and really connect you with the beautiful Nantahala National Forest. It has a loft, beautiful wood flooring, and a porch perfect for immersing yourself in the sounds of remote mountain bliss. The cabin is in a clearing and at night you can sit on the deck, look up at the sky and see millions of stars. It has a fire pit so you can cook food, roast marshmallows, tell stories, and do other fire pit related activities. It is fantastic. In fact, I am kind of wondering why I'm not still there. If it were possible to give this place 10 stars, I would give it 11. I would recommend if to families, couples, singles, platonic friends, professionals, amateurs, and anyone who enjoys all the gorgeous mountain scenery North Carolina has to offer. Also, the owners of this place are some of the most gracious, kind-hearted, welcoming people you will ever meet. You can stop looking your next vacation getaway, you found it."
