  • Simply Awesome!!

"This place is wonderful. Most places we have stayed, the pictures over sell the rental, not with this home. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of everything, furniture, knicknacs, kitchen utensils and bedding. You really dont feel like you are in a vacation rental, it feels like your good friends are letting you stay there while they are away. Great fireplace, windows everywhere, open floor plan. Very good WiFi and Direct TV. The deck and views are incredible. One of our favorite things was siting in rocking chairs having a drink at the end of the day, watching the shadows flow across the mountains. The location is a good compromise of being in the woods and fairly close to activities and shopping. You feel like you are the only ones on top of a mountain. You can see a small part of another cabin a couple hundred yards away. Feels very private. We had a wonderful time going to Smokey Mtn National Park, hiking at Joyce Kilmer Forest, trout fishing, boating on Fontana and walking around Bryson City. We look forward to going back again."

  • Fabulous home in the perfect location!

"This is a very special home on a very special lake in a very special lakeside community. With a terrific location on a wide section of the lake, the home has a truly commanding view of the lake and opposite shoreline. Its southern exposure means a beautiful lakeside sunrise to the home’s left, a beautiful lakeside sunset to the home’s right, and a gentle sunlight all day that makes the home’s beautiful interior wood glow golden. The community is the charming Town of Lake Santeetlah (www.townoflakesanteetlah.org) , with winding perimeter and upper roads of a single lane and little traffic, perfect for leisurely walking. We met numerous residents on our walks around the community and enjoyed many a warm and friendly conversation. We are two couples who live in lakeside homes ourselves and expect much from a lake. Lake Santeetlah met our highest expectations. We believe this home is priced very attractively and represents an exceedingly good value. We could not recommend this home more highly to anyone looking for elegant lakeside living, either as a couple or couple of couples, or as a family with many adventurous children in tow. Certainly, our experience was a very good one, and we plan to be back."

  • Awesome place in Robbinsville

"Loved the place. It was much bigger than I anticipated. It was "not" the greatest looking place in history, but it was SUPER clean, and I really liked it. Location-wise, it was great for what I needed."

  • Awesome Location

"If you ride a motorcycle this is the perfect place to stay. Everything you need is right here. The roads are awesome and the sites are breath taking. Yes...your close to the Dragon but that's just a tiny part of the puzzle. We rode 900 miles in 5 days trying to see everything we could. It's just impossible to see and experience it all in a week. Greer's cabin is the place to get away from it all. Quiet and well maintained you just can't beat this place. I will most definitely be back. The perfect hideaway in the mountains!"
