  • Beautiful Mountain Location/House

"High Whisper was a gorgeous home with all high quality furnishings and accessories. We literally just brought clothes/food and everything else was provided within the house. The seclusion and views were just what we were wanting for our vacation. Although we were nestled on top of a mountain there were so many things near by to do; such as: hiking, swimming, zip lining, shopping, waterfalls, golf, restaurants, and bars (our favorite was Sapphire Whiskey Tavern). We spent most of our evenings lounging in the hot tub and enjoyed the beautiful skies. Plenty of room for the whole family to be together and just as many spaces to find a secluded spot to relax. Highly recommend High Whisper and will definitely keep in mind for future vacations. The owners also provided us great resources in knowing about things that were happening in the area. They were accessible by email and text throughout the week for any questions that we had."

  • Wonderful Stay!

"The cabin/house was a wonderful, peaceful place to stay. Accommodations were as stated...everything was there that we could have possibly needed! It was super clean and nicely decorated. The view out back was spectacular, and we enjoyed our evenings in front of the fireplace and enjoying the cool mountain weather. Master bedroom/bath were huge and other two bedrooms were perfect for our family. Kristin was so helpful with questions that we had about our stay as well as helping us by accommodating us a day early to escape Hurricane Matthew. The only problem we had was with directions to the house (and we have never been to Sapphire, so we didn't exactly know our way around the town/neighborhood)."

  • All that you would want and more!

"Our Family had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. Located in a beautiful piece of mountain paradise called Sapphire Valley. We selected the week between Christmas and New Year. Our Family had plenty to do in the home between board games, puzzles, TV, air hockey, etc. or simply enjoying our mornings by the fireplace and just talking and catching up. We most certainly took advantage of the beautiful mountains by taking hikes and enjoying the waterfalls. We also wrapped up the week with an exciting visit to the Biltmore House and it's beautiful Christmas decorations. What a wonderful week our Family of nine had in this beautiful home. Our spoiled Golden Doodle had a wonderful time as well and the house was very accomodating for our pet. I highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone who is looking for a great getaway in first class accommodations!"

  • Paradise in Paradise--WOW!

"We just returned home to Indiana last weekend from an awesome stay at this rental. The accommodations are just as described--excellent for our gang, two married retired couples in our sixties who enjoy hiking, waterfalls, mountain streams, and lots of great landscape photography sites. This unit is very conveniently located for visiting all the state parks and waterfalls in the surrounding areas. We definitely plan to return, again, to do more hiking and photography. We hired a local waterfall guide for a 4-5 hours tour of private waterfalls early one morning. That was the trip of a lifetime. Can't wait to return sometime next fall to add to our waterfalls photo collection."
