  • Loved out guys trip

"Getting to and into the house was so easy. This was a great option in between Cashiers and Lake Toxaway! The owner was exceptionally kind and helpful in our booking."

  • Late summer vacation

"We recently spent nearly 2 weeks at this lovely lakeside property. Easily accommodated 6 adults. We enjoyed grilling out and eating and relaxing on the large covered back porch. Lots of nearby shopping and scenic sights to experience. The back porch setting is elevated like being in a treehouse - lovely and serene. No bear sightings, but lots of hummingbirds in the trees. Great location for some mountain R & R!"

  • Lovely apartment

"Great apartment for a single or couple. We liked it so much we stayed an extra night! Perfect base for hiking in the area. Loved, loved, LOVED the screened in porch with hammock! No A/C, but you truly don't need it. Stayed cool with the ceiling fans-- and we were there the middle of August. Would stay here again."

  • Wonderful

"Our family spent two weeks at this cabin over Christmas and New Years and loved every minute of it! It was exactly as the pictures portrayed, a rustic but upscale retreat. The upstairs was very spacious and the master bedroom and closet were outstanding, plenty of room to tuck everything away so you didn't have to live out of suitcases. The indoor fireplace was used every night and when we ran out of wood, the owner arranged to have more delivered. Unfortunately it rained most of the days we were there so we were not able to use the outdoor fireplace but once or twice, but it was magnificent. The covered porch was ideal for staying dry while watching and listening to the rain. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of linens. We made great use of the Sapphire Resort's indoor pool, which was just a very nominal fee. We not only enjoyed the cabin but the area as well. We had a magical holiday and would definitely return!"
