  • PERFECT!!!

"I don't think you will find a better value in the WNC mountains. A beautifully decorated cozy little cabin very close to the Tuckasegee river. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay....especially the nice toasty wood fire each night. We had agreed that a little snowfall would have completed our fantasy. As such we will certainly try to return this winter at first signs of snow. Very nice, clean, cozy, warm and above all relaxing! Loved it!"

  • This place was everything we thought it would be!

"We pulled onto the property and was instantly amazed by the view. We had 5 couples who get together every couple of years in different parts of the country to have fun and tell lies as we call it. The 5 guys are all Desert Storm buddies who served together. This place was everything the reviews said it was. You can have total peace on the waters edge or live it up a little and have no problems. We enjoyed the cabin and the water activities. Also was happy town was not far away with some friendly people. I could write all that we did or saw but it falls in line with all the other reviews. Bottom line this place is worth the trip I'm ranking it right up at the top of the places this group has stayed!"

  • Pretty house

"This is a nice smaller home with a great location near the main gate and the walking trail to Cedar Cliff Lake. Part of my large group stayed here and I think they spent every moment on the porch. Very relaxing!"

  • Best Family Vacation Yet!

"We spent 6 nights at this cabin in mid June with our entire family (7 people in total). We were happy that we still got to have a decent amount of privacy with the separate downstairs master suite, enclosed garage, hot tub, and deck areas and also found it very convenient to have three full bathrooms so there wasn't a huge line for the shower delaying our start each morning. . We were very pleased with the location of this cabin - a short drive to Asheville and Cherokee, with plenty of shops and places for meals in Maggie Valley as well. The nearby golf course definitely makes it feel like you're staying in a nice community. As far as places to check out close by, our favorites were: Ingles (HUGE grocery store), Maggie Valley Puzzle Rooms (very new "escape room" business that is an excellent option for rainy days or evening activities), Maggie Valley Family Restaurant (loved the food!), Jelly Bellies Mountain Gift Shop (candies/gifts/icecream). There are a TON more options - but we had already planned several activities in Asheville/Bryson City so we didn't get to do as much as we could have in the immediate area. Overall, this was by far the best family vacation we have taken in years. We did several activities together, but also had time to do a few things in smaller groups so everyone got to do what they wanted. This cabin was a great, peaceful place to meet back up and plan out the next adventure! The only things we noticed were that there were a few lights that needed to be replaced during our stay and the washing machine sounded a little worrisome, but neither of these issues bothered us enough to contact the owners. We did however contact the owners to change our reservation about a month before the trip - we had some responsibilities come up and needed to shorten the trip by a few days; Dawn was great and accommodating - we had our new days and payment amounts setup with 24 hours!"
