  • Great family vacation - everyone loved it!

"The Maggie Valley location gave us access to so many surrounding places. We hiked Mingo Falls near Cherokee in one direction, and hit the town in Asheville in the other. The pinball museum, chocolate lounge and dinner at the Wicked Weed were great. 3 Miles from the cabin, we went horseback riding at the Queens stables. Beautiful ride to the top of the mountain. The cabin was family friendly and created great memories for everyone. Nightly dips in the hot tub followed by smores around the fire pit. All of our needs were met with the accessories in the home and the grocery store and local restaurants were very convenient. Of course Mom won the billiards tournament too! Would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a fun-filled week in the mountains!"

  • Beautiful home and location!

"We enjoyed our stay at Bear Lake. The home was the perfect size for our family of 5. Although we did not eat at the club, the facilities were nice and the menu looked delicious. The outside fireplace was fantastic as was the fire pit. The kids enjoyed "exploring" by the stream behind the house. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with all the needed amenities. The personnel at guest services were extremely helpful. The location was very central to all the things we wanted to do. We spent the day in Asheville one day and the next we did a long hike at Great Smoky Mountain NP. We hope to stay here again."
