  • Perfect place for a peaceful, relaxing getaway

"We were looking for a great view and a quiet, comfortable place to get away, unplug, and relax, and wow, did this location deliver. From the fabulous lake/mountain view to the beautifully decorated cabin with all the modern conveniences needed for comfort, we absolutely loved this vacation and intend to return. We were happy to take our dogs with us, spend some time reading on the swing on the porch, fishing down on the dock (and thanks to Dan, next time we know a few fishing spots to try), taking the jon boat out on the lake, enjoying all the beautiful scenery, and taking short trips into Waynesville and Maggie Valley. It was nice to get to talk with Dan and Leslie. They have made this place such a special retreat. Can't wait for our next visit. (Beth & David, Muttley, Moxie, Miller)"

  • Great Vacation Cabin

"Great rental! The cabin was really clean and everything was in great shape. All of the activities in the game room were in great shape. The owners were really easy to work with and made sure that you had a great time in their house. My friends and I would absolutely rent this cabin again."

  • Good Basic Cabin for a Weekend Getaway

"We went to the Asheville Area for a weekend get away, and enjoyed this cozy, out of the way cabin. It was close enough to the City to make it easy to get to, but far enough away that we felt secluded in the mountains. There are a few close houses around, but from the cabin you feel pretty private. Perfect for a couple, I wouldn't suggest it for more than that. The queen bed was comfortable. The bathroom was nice and clean. The kitchen had a good set of utensils, pots, and pans for doing some easy cooking. There is no real wifi in the cabin. The wireless router from the main house up the hill reaches the cabin just enough to show up on your phone, but is not strong enough to really use. The road to get to the cabin is a rough gravel road with many ditches and holes, so I'd suggest a truck or SUV or a car you don't mind scraping bottom with. Overall, I would stay here again."

  • Can't wait to go back!

"We had a wonderful time at this cabin! The views are beautiful and the cabin had everything we needed! The kitchen is especially had everything, and more! The hot tub on the deck overlooks the beautiful mountains, and unlike some other hot tubs at rentals, this one was very clean and well-maintained. We had the pleasure of watching a little ground hog outside the kitchen window each day. Cute little thing! We took our dog and she was very comfortable and enjoyed the cabin much as we did. The owner, Geoff, and the property management were super nice and very pleasant to do business with! We will definitely be back!"
