  • Great Stay in a truly secluded location

"If you are looking for a beautiful place that you are never aware of your neighbors or traffic noise then this is the place for your next mountain visit. There was 4 adults and 2 teenage boys and the house worked out well for all concerned, Well furnished house with a killer deck that at night you realize that the stars are a wonderful sight that offers a pleasing break for that night cap or glass of wine. The Zip line course in Barnardsville is just a short drive to a world class course that is worth a try. Overall our short stay was uneventful except for the driveway that proved to be a challenge for both a front wheel drive Honda van and Prius. It is passable if you pull in and back up 50 -75 feet and get a running start. Beware that you don't want to stop as backing up will present problems that you don't want to deal with, so just CHARGE the hill"

  • Great place to stay just outside of Asheville!

"Property was exactly what we were hoping for. Our pup loved the backyard, but it was quite a challenge keeping him awa my for all the delicious peaches in the backyard. :)"

  • Very Comfortable!

"Our family enjoyed 5 nights at this cabin for a vacation getaway and it was a great fit for us! The home was spacious and cozy at the same time. We found the beds very comfortable. All the supplies we needed were available. It was great to have three bedrooms where each had their own full bath. When we were at "home" we spent a lot of time visiting around the kitchen table. There was room for everyone to work on their tasks. The wide hallway and doorways, as well as the open space around the kitchen island were great for my elderly mother who used a walker. The gravel drive is steep and it can be a bit bumpy but we just went slowly and it was fine. It was a great help to be able to pull the car up next to the back patio and make it a short walk to the back door for my mother (and easy transport of packages for us). It was a bit too warm for us to enjoy much time on the front porch, but I can see it would be awesome to enjoy visiting with each other out there in cooler weather. The view of the mountains is narrowed by the trees. We found the cabin was an easy starting location for the various sights we wanted to see (downtown Asheville, Blue Ridge Parkway sights, Biltmore, Pigeon Forge, TN). I had emailed Lynn a couple of times before our arrival and received quick and helpful replies. I would definitely recommend this cabin to families or groups wanting to stay in the Asheville area."
