  • Magnificent Mountain Views

"My family and I have rented many houses in the Asheville area, but none can come close to the amazing mountain views this house has! Outside, this charming house has an easily manageable driveway and a lovely deck that allows for relaxing and taking in the view. The house itself is very well maintained - very clean and tastefully decorated - and appointed with extra towels, linens, bedding and pillows, along with a well equipped kitchen and laundry. The owner is very kind and accommodating in every way and easy to reach if needed. Asheville is a very special, charming city and to be able to stay in such a wonderful house makes the vacation all the more memorable. We will definitely rent this house again."

  • Cozy home with everything you need for your stay

"I had the most wonderful experience staying at Mint Cottage. I felt so comfy, cozy and at home there. You really just need to bring you clothes and toothbrush - well I brought my Keurig (never leave home without it). The area is perfect to walk downtown in about 20 minutes. The neighboorhood restaurants are fantastic too. Be sure to try Homegrown - best southern fried chichen, Vinnie's - best Italian. And don't forget to walk a block to "Ultimate Icecream". I made that walk a few too many times!!! Thank you Meryl for making your home feel like my home too. You can be sure I'll be back next summer."

  • Great location

"My wife and I spent three days over the Thanksgiving holiday just enjoying ourselves. The location was fantastic- we were able to walk to many restaurants and of course only had to take the elevator to the Lobster Trap on the first floor. Since we're were there over a major holiday the parking was difficult. Even thought there is a large parking deck across the street it was full most of the time. The unit was exactly as advertised and decorated very nicely. If you want to enjoy downtown Asheville, this is definitely the spot."

  • Wonderful Cabin Lodging

"This cabin is just as pictured. Two sofas in living room. We didn't use the stove or washer. The master bed comfortable. The bathroom was small but doable. I loved the cabin. I really loved those acres. I would walk it often. The location is awesome. Close to airport and Asheville. We did a ride and picnic on the Blue Ridge parkway. We went into Asheville for 1/2 day. I found myself just wanting to sit and read by the creek back at the cabin. We made a fire in the pit each evening. I loved the dining room barn. I didn't like the road noise from the little country road. You can't hear road noise in cabin. I wish the owners would get more chairs for long sits by the creek and fire pit area. Still, it gets five stars. Roger, caretaker was very helpful. We would come again."
