  • Wonderful mountain home with lots of space

"We had a party of 12 and this beautiful mountain home was perfect for our large party. The home is about 20-25 minutes from Downtown Hendersonville. If you like to apple pick, this is the perfect location as it's located right off of the road where many apple orchards are located. The kitchen is very well stocked. Bedrooms were very spacious with comfortable beds. One of our favorite spots was the firepit located below the home/across the street. We also enjoyed a short walk down to the creek. Communication with Esther was great. Would definitely stay here again!"

  • Location, Location, Location

"Want an out of this world from your screened in porch? This is it. The house lends itself to fabulous privacy with 4 bedrooms and separate bathrooms for each. Well stocked with everything you need, and two terrific sitting areas, both inside and out (screened). Great hiking next door, and easy access to Pisgah, Dupont and other nearby forests, plus Hendersonville, The Carl Sandburg house, and of course Brevard, make for a full set of activities."

  • Very nice - family enjoyed it.

"The house and property were as described in the ad. House is cozy and comfortable with a large collection of interesting books. There was a large yard area that my kids (12, 11 and 8) enjoyed playing in and interacting with the herd of cows on the other side of the fence. Upstairs sleeping areas very good for kids. Felt the price was reasonable. Only real downside is that you are not in a "mountain" area - think more rolling farmland. However we knew that going in. Though there might be more places to explore on the property given its size but that was not a big deal - we would rather hike mountain trails. Owners very easy to work with and have several laminated info sheets that were useful."
