  • perfect for our large family

"This home was perfect for our large family. Everybody was comfortable and had their own space. The hot tub and fireplaces were a nice bonus. It took us only about 5 minutes to get to downtown too. Very convenient! Owners were very responsive in any messages I sent them. We would stay there again for sure! The only thing is though, I thought it was on the lake or at least walking distance. It's not. You would have to drive down to the lake to access it. Very gorgeous though."

  • Relaxing getaway

"The interior is like a page from the Ballard Design Catalogue. The rooms are made of little vignettes giving great ideas for decorating. Every time you look around there is something you didn't notice before. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. They thought about everything to make your stay comfy and fun. Outside we had of course the beauty of peace and nature. We did some excursions but everything was kind of a long drive. It was just great relaxing, reading, sleeping, paddle on the water, doing BBQ... the only thing we didn't do was swimming. There is no way when you can't see your feet through the green water! For sunsets and fog sets you really have to drive up the mountain to watch the spectacular view. Here there is the pond and the mountain around it. Very calming but not so spectacular. We throughly loved our stay. We regret it was not long enough. But then vacations are always too short!"

  • So private yet so close to the town's. Love the convenience.

"Brian and Linda were the best hosts. We had an amazing time in their property for the week. House was spotless and so cozy. Grounds were awesome for our 9 year old. Pond woods and farm. Loves the outdoors. Front porch so relaxing to just take in the cool mountain air. Fireplace was so cozy in the evening. What we are missing the most is the farm animals. Kevin the dog Darwin the camel and Lucy the cow. They were the sweetest and we thoughrouly enjoyed spending the mornings feeding them. We will most certainly be returning. Can't wait for the next vacation. A must visit."

  • Perfect Retreat

"This quaint cabin is twice the size of a tiny house and suits 2 people nicely. TLC is an easy drive to the Biltmore and is situated up on a hill so from the back porch there is a nice view. We spent evenings on the porch relaxing on the nice rocking chairs. The interior is knotty pine with beamed ceiling so it's a warm and inviting place. Kitchen well stocked. Roberta is fantastic to work with and we would not hesitate to rent this place again."
