  • Could Not Have Been Better.

"Several friends and I took a bike trip to ride through the mountains of TN and NC. "Up the Creek" was absolutely perfect. Centrally located to where we wanted to me, the cabin had enough bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate our group. The property is very well maintained - the cabin immaculate...it was very much like staying at a resort. "Almost" too nice for a bunch of old, tired bikers. We had a fantastic time and would, without hesitation, recommend this property to anyone who was looking for a great place to stay."

  • A piece of heaven!

"Breathtaking!! What a wonderful, relaxing vacation! The pictures don’t do this cabin in the mountains justice. The views are out of this world especially in the morning with fog in the valley and the mountain peaks rising above. There was fresh baked chocolate chip pumpkin bread and the fresh flowers upon arrival. The cabin was immaculately clean and well stocked with everything you expect from cooking/baking utensils. The beds are very comfortable. The outside area is perfectly landscaped and the multi-level deck space is peaceful and inviting. We really just loved sitting on the front porch enjoying the peace and quite, while being totally in awe with the hummingbirds. Every night we would sit around the fire pit listening to the sheep in the pasture below. The area offers some very good places to eat, all within 15 minutes of the cabin. Waynesville is a great little town. Try Sweet Onion, Fat Buddies. In Maggie Valley try the Moonshine Grill. We went to Asheville and did the Artist River Walk and ate at the Tipping Point. For the beer lovers, there are some great breweries in the area. Debbie and Dave are wonderful. They went above and beyond providing us with the most relaxing and gorgeous retreat ever. They take genuine concern in your comfort level and make the renting process easy. I needed some help planning a surprised 30th birthday party and Debbie gave me a person to contact. I want to thank Shannon for doing a wonderful job with decorating the cabin, making a special meal and making a lovely cake. We definitely will come back to this magical place. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us."

  • Great location

"My wife and I spent three days over the Thanksgiving holiday just enjoying ourselves. The location was fantastic- we were able to walk to many restaurants and of course only had to take the elevator to the Lobster Trap on the first floor. Since we're were there over a major holiday the parking was difficult. Even thought there is a large parking deck across the street it was full most of the time. The unit was exactly as advertised and decorated very nicely. If you want to enjoy downtown Asheville, this is definitely the spot."

  • Our Third Time Back!

"Just returned from our third trip up to the cabin - my family and I really love this place and the location. The cabin is very well kept, has such great front and back porches for relaxing in such great surroundings. It is also perfectly located for all the activities we enjoy doing between Highlands, Franklin, and Northern GA. We highly recommend staying here and we are looking forward to our next trip back!"
