  • Beautiful property in beautiful location!

"We had a fabulous weekend! Everything we needed or could have wanted was provided. The home is well stocked, with some lovely extra touches. We have never seen a cleaner vacation rental. Clearly the owners take pride in what they offer. We would love to return at some point! Thank you!"

  • Loved-Loved-Loved

"The pictures do not do the house justice. It was soooooo nice and big. It was a plus to have three full bathrooms. I took teenage girls who stayed up all night singing and dancing downstairs -- we could not even hear them!!! They loved going in the hot tub that had plenty of room for all of them. We rented a boat at the Mountain Marina which was only 10 mins away. Now that we have seen the area we will be back-there was so much we wanted to do. I suggest the Chunky Gal Stables for horseback riding -they were great. Thank you for sharing your home-it was all that you promised. (The wifi was great as the teenagers were uploading pics of the home to instagram on a regular basis) :)"

  • A little piece of Heaven!

"We arrived in the Old Fort area on a very warm Saturday morning. Started to reconsider going to North Carolina mid summer, glad we came. The mountain home was AMAZING! It was definitely cooler up top. The house was spotless with more amenities than mentioned in the HomeAway website. In fact, there was nothing lacking for what we were cooking or during leisure. The house was already cooled when we arrived. The view from the deck was beautiful whether it was sunrise, watching a storm go across the valley below, or watch the sunset! There was the cutest nook off the spare room with a lovely stone wall and gnome watching your every move. The landscaping of this area was extremely inviting. The decks had plenty of space with outdoor furniture for lounging or dining. We used the gas grill hard and had a much better view than any restaurant in the area. Places we enjoyed while there: Of course we loved the relaxed atmosphere at Phil's Bar-B-Que Pit. We did a Paddle board tour in Asheville area of the French Broad River. This was booked with Kyle of Mauii SUP (stand up paddleboarding). Kyle was amazing with his patience for helping us succeed. And the Biltmore Mansion is well worth going to. Go early as the crowd assembles early and there is a lot to see. The gardens rival our local Longwood Gardens. The Blue Ridge Parkway was also amazing. We went to Little Switzerland for a lovely dinner overseeing the valley below. All in all it was a fairly central location for all that we chose to do. Lynne made sure we had detailed instructions for everything from locating the home to how to manage everything in the home. We could not have asked for anything more!"

  • Upscale and centrally located

"The apartment is very centrally located to downtown Asheville and is a short drive and pleasant walk to campus. Amenities inside are very nice: upscale kitchen, good bath, very comfortable bed, lovely living room, wifi, laundry. Street noise at night from south windows, especially on weekends. But bedrooms are located in the deep interior of the building so fairly quiet. Bedrooms do not have windows - set your alarm if you need to be up because there is no daylight to wake you!"
