  • A great place to relax.

"The Morning Star is a great place to relax. Sitting on the side of the hill, close to the golf course, it invites you in with warm and comfortable furnishings. Very clean. There is plenty of sitting area inside, but we found the screened in deck the perfect spot with comfy sitting and birds and squirrels to watch. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, except a pizza cutter, but we made due. There is a bath and half upstairs and one downstairs. The bedrooms, one up and one down both have very comfortable beds. We loved all the windows, opened all the blinds and let the light in. Our four legged friends loved the Morning Star as well. If you happen to be on motorcycles, I think you would love it here because you would have covered parking and paved drive. Thanks for sharing your home with us, we found it very comfortable and relaxing."

  • Very nice!

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this house for our ski trip to Cataloochee. The house is very conveniently located in the center of Maggie Valley, very close to the ski resort. It's also close to the major road and about 40 mins away from Ashville. It has a large fenced yard and offers a lot of privacy. The three bedrooms are good sized. The house is clean, however, it stored a lot stuff in the closet and laundry room. The very best part of this house is that it provides everything you need in the kitchen, including even zip bags and aluminum foil. We really enjoyed our stay."

  • Even better than we expected.....rustic, yet modern.

"Fit our needs well, all amenities were nice. Would have liked better mattresses, but can't really complain. Thanks for a nice stay!"

  • Beautiful Home in Secluded Area

"I recently stayed at this cabin with my three adult children and one more guest and we had a great time! The cabin was exactly as described and had everything we needed plus more. The kids really enjoyed the wide selection of board games that was there. The master bedroom downstairs was perfect for me and my younger son. The internet worked perfectly and we had cell service which was important to my children. We went down the Nantahala River one day and went Horseback riding at Smokemont another day. It was a very nice trip, but it was over way too fast. Also, the downtown Bryson City area is just a few miles away and is very cute and quaint. The cabin was everything we expected, and the hot tub was perfect! The only thing I didn't know ahead of time was there is a small spiral staircase to get downstairs to the master which is a little tricky because I have a bad ankle, but it was manageable. The master bedroom bathtub is also just the perfect size and I would love to have it at my home! I really enjoyed my stay at Bear Trax."
