  • Wonderful!

"While on our 20th anniversary get-a-way trip to Asheville, my husband and I stayed in this beautiful, well appointed, cozy chalet. We enjoyed using the sauna in the evenings and felt indulged with the radiant floor heating in the bathroom. There are several options for entertainment provided in the chalet-large screen TV, movies, music, and the sauna but we just enjoyed the reading on the porch! The property is located in a quiet neighborhood that is convenient to the Blue Ridge Parkway, downtown, and the Biltmore Estate. A few local eateries that are close by that we highly recommend are The Korea House (downtown), the East Village Grill (Tunnel Rd)and The Copper Crown (Tunnel Rd). Jean-Jacque was very gracious and helpful. We would definitely recommend this property for a couple's weekend away and would not hesitate to stay here again!"

  • Great place!

"Very comfortable home with lots of amenities. The kids had a great time running up and down the drive way to burn energy. The dishwasher and washing machine were a big plus in this mom's book. The only real draw back, for us bc our kids are on the younger side, was the master being downstairs. Overall, it was a great experience and we'd rent here again."

  • Location, Location, Location

"Like they say in real estate, it's all about location. This rental is located on a dead-end, very short road...just a minute to the main drag where all the action is. There is more than enough room for a large family yet still cozy enough for a romantic stay for two. As far as restaurants go, I give high praise to J. Arthur's where the service, atmosphere and food will make you smile and leave you satisfied. If you like seafood try Maggie's Galley in Waynesville. If you can't catch a trout in the creek to save your soul, then visit a trout pond and you won't leave troutless. Early in the week the area seems more clam and relaxed compared to end of the week/weekend activities."

  • Three Couples Get Away

"The location of home was good, feels like you're in the country but you're actually close to town & to Ashville. House had great layout, with bedroom & full bath on each floor. However, mattress pad, pillows & sheets on upstairs bed were stained. We contacted owner first night and housecleaning was sent next morning to replace pillows, mattress pad & sheets. Unfortunately, it was uncomfortable first night for the couple who was supposed to sleep in that bed. The dish towels in kitchen were 'well-worn' & should have been replaced without having to tell owner. Little better housekeeping & better towels would have been preferred. We initially noticed last REVIEW of property was 2014, and our visit was SEPT 2016. Overall, we enjoyed house and the location."
