  • Perfect Retreat

"This quaint cabin is twice the size of a tiny house and suits 2 people nicely. TLC is an easy drive to the Biltmore and is situated up on a hill so from the back porch there is a nice view. We spent evenings on the porch relaxing on the nice rocking chairs. The interior is knotty pine with beamed ceiling so it's a warm and inviting place. Kitchen well stocked. Roberta is fantastic to work with and we would not hesitate to rent this place again."

  • Great family friendly vacation spot!

"Our family had a great time at bear lake. House was extremely clean and very comfortable inside and out. The lake club is very upscale and has everything you need to relax or have some fun on the lake. You can have drinks and food by the pool or rent a boat or jetski. This was a spurt of the moment getaway and honestly I had doubts but I will definitely be back in the future. Last but not least make sure you pay attention when you leave your cabin. We got turned around and spent over a hour trying to get back."

  • Idyllic

"We had a wonderful stay at Willow Cottage. The home is beautiful, the decor is lovely, the setting is perfect. We would definitely recommend this property and would love to come back. It is quiet and pastoral but with all the amenities you could need. The town of Waynesville is only a fifteen or twenty minute drive with a nice grocery and lots more. We were there with our adult children but it would be a great place with little ones. There's plenty of room to run and roam, the river is right there to enjoy and you can hike on the property. The game pavilion is nice and there's a fire pit just above the river nearby. We very much enjoyed the outdoor fireplace on the back porch. We loved the kitchen and spent much of our time there cooking and baking while making our own little beverage bar. The house was decorated tastefully for Christmas with a live tree and greenery here and there. It was one of our favorite times away. We were sort of "sklpping" Christmas so this was just the place. We got to enjoy the decorations without putting them up or taking them down! Next time we will go early, before our kids arrive, and stay after they leave."

  • This is the one you've been looking for! :)

"This cabin is beautiful, very clean, and feels so homey. Jody has an amazing talent for decorating in a way that is warm and whimsical! We loved every minute we were there.... the pool table was loads of fun; the huge porch was perfect for relaxing; the boys enjoyed the video games; the kitchen was incredibly well-stocked with every pot, pan, dish and utensil we might need; the creek was peaceful and fun for the kids. Experiencing a campfire creek-side was spectacular and something we'd never done before. The four-legged members of the family were ecstatic about being able to romp and play to their hearts content in the fenced yard. Everything about it the cabin was cozy and inviting and we can't wait to go back! The Hayesville area is also beautiful and had loads of amenities so that you have the option of staying at the cabin and enjoying the comfort of peace and quiet, or of getting out and about to do a variety of activities. We went white water rafting with Carolina Outfitters and on a trail ride at the very-close-by Chunky Gal Stables. Both were tons of fun and great for making memories! We very highly recommend Chunky Gal Stables if you would enjoy horseback riding...outstanding guides and horses. All in all Jody's cabin is a spectacular choice for a memorable family vacation or for anytime you might need an escape from the real world."
