  • Clean, comfortable and in a great location

"I stayed in this condo for my niece's wedding and it was perfect. We had an amazing pool and our own private beach with a spectacular view of Lake Erie. We were convenient to everything and the condo was perfect. We didn't need them, but there were three different foldout beds in addition to the main bedroom. It was truly a wonderful place to stay."

  • Easy In, Easy Out

"Place was very clean and within walking distance to everything. We even booked last min with no issues when we saw availability. Only issue was it was snowing in May other than that, fantastic place for summer."

  • Fun condo for relaxing

"We stayed here with our family of four for three nights. Larain was very helpful in our communication prior to arrival and met us at the condo to collect the rental fee. The condo was very clean and in good condition. The bedroom is in the back and has a queen bed and a full size futon. Our intention was for all four of us to sleep in that room, but as they say, best laid the couch is a fine option for sleeping as well. It's a huge couch and comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped and most importantly to us, everything was very clean. Our only concern was that the a/c unit is in the bedroom and not very strong. The temperature was manageable, but we wish it had been cooler. It was also problematic for us when we put the kids to bed around 8pm and had to close the door to the bedroom as no air traveled to the front of the condo by the living room. Again, it wasn't a make or break situation to us, but I know some people are pretty serious about their a/c. The common areas are immaculate and we wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy them more. The pool was very clean and we saw people attending to it every day we were there. Everyone we ran into at the pool was friendly. The little beach just off of the pool area was perfect for us with a 3 yo and 6 yo. The staff of the Shores is VERY attentive. Overall, we had a very pleasant family trip."

  • Great location, spacious, comfortable, homey; lots of traffic noise

"This is a well-equipped two-story condo across a busy 4-lane street from the lake. Loved the screened porch and spectacular sunset views. While the condo was not new, it was very comfortable with a great upstairs living area and a bay window. Downstairs is a spacious dining area, screened porch, kitchen, bath with shower, and bedroom with 2 twin beds. Upstairs is a full bath, washer and dryer, spacious queen bedroom, a bar area with small sink, and comfortable living area. The condo does not provide shampoo, hair dryer, or other bathroom amenities so be sure to bring your own. We found basic food supplies but plan to do your grocery shopping at the Krogers about a mile east of the condo. Easy parking; end unit offered extra privacy. We enjoyed our stay, and the condo was a good value for the area. Be sure to take a ferry from Catawba point to Put-in-Bay and visit the top of Perry's Monument for spectacular views of the surrounding islands - including Pelee Island across the border in Canada. If it were not for the traffic noise, the condo would be a 5-star choice. Small issues with maintenance - broken clock in kitchen, old toaster oven, well-loved microwave, tired patio chairs - are easy to overlook given all the other pluses with this property."
