  • Quiet Retreat

"Tom and his cottage was perfect from the start. What a gracious host. Tom was there to answer any questions and offered ideas for things to do. Even when under the weather, he made sure my stay was comfortable. The cottage was exactly what I needed and even though it was close to the road, when sitting outside on the shaded patio, it was relaxing and peaceful. The cottage is roomy and has all of the necessities. I would definitely stay here again."

  • Perfect place for weekend at Cedar Point!

"This two bedroom house is so close to Cedar Point. From the home's driveway to your parking space at Cedar Point, it's a five minute drive. The master has a Queen size bed, small TV and the stacked washer and dryer. It sounds odd to have a washer in the bedroom, but it works. The second bedroom has a twin bed and a twin size roll away bed. The living room has a super comfortable couch with chaise. There is also a love seat and chair. The larger couch has a pull out bed. My son slept very comfortably on it. The Queen bed was not the most comfortable mattress but you're so exhausted from the park you fall asleep easily. The bathroom has a shower that is good size and has a shower head that detaches, a must for my kids. Other reviews speak about the wifi. It was great!! The house has it's own and the router is in the living room. The password is provided. We had two phones and two tablets connected and it worked great. The owners greeted us upon arrival. We called them once during our stay for a question about the DVD player. They were very responsive. About twelve minutes from the house are three big box stores, department store (Macy's), chain restaurants, movie theatre, bowling alley etc. If your trip to Cedar Point gets rained out, you will not be bored. Outside the house is seating for 6. I drank my coffee outside each morning and watched the sunrise over the water. Perfect! The kitchen had stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and a slow cooker. There were a few pots and skillets. There was no bakeware (cookie sheet, muffin pan, 9x13 dish). We made Mac n cheese, hot dogs, sandwiches, easy stuff. We will definitely be back. I almost don't want to share this review because I want to make sure the house is available the next time we want to stay. Book this house! Enjoy making great memories."

  • Wonderful Romantic Getaway

"Fantastic clean cottage with great owner and pet friendly. Ate ate the Sandbar one night and grilled at the cottage the second night. Walks on the beach and a trip to Kelly's island made the weekend one to remember. Highly recommend!!🤗"

  • Very Much worth the rental price

"My wife and I rented this cottage for the first week in July 2016 What a wonderful place to stay. The cottage has everything you could possibly need and then some. They supplied way more than any other place we've rented in the past by far. The views are fabulous and it is so peaceful and not actually a tourist section of town but more like a residential community. It is off the main highway on a small street, so it is very peaceful and basically no traffic. We rode our bikes in to Vermilion and it was a very easy ride as all the roads are flat and no hills. The store across the street is very convenient also. We did get a small storm the last night and that was a good thing, it is amazing to watch out over the lake. We saw a bald eagle at least a couple times daily, he comes out of a big oak tree, out at the waters edge, about 2 houses to the right facing the lake. Very easy to see from the back yard. The bed was very comfortable and I just can't overstate how nice this place was . Great job Kate ,Thank You, we hope to be back in the near future. Maybe a fall trip ?"
