  • An Amazing Experience

"We traveled to the Cleveland area from North Carolina for the Dallas Cowboys Cleveland Browns football game and wanted to stay somewhere other than a hotel. We were not disappointed and could not have chosen a better place to stay. Brian was a wonderful host who was available to help us with anything we needed throughout our stay . He prepared breakfast for us each day and the meals could only be described as five star!!! The location was not only convenient but absolutely beautiful as it was the first time we ever experienced seeing any of the great lakes. We truly enjoyed the evening conversations and getting to know Brian on a more personal level. Leaving Cleveland for home actually felt as if we were saying good bye to a lifelong friend. We would highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone and intend to return to stay with Brian and his wife again next time we travel to Cleveland. Patty, Andrew and Katie"

  • Excellent Time; Our Family loves this property.

"This is the 4th year in a row that my family has stayed at this property in October. The property is amazing in so many ways. It is very secluded and away from the roads. This time of year the trees are in full fall mode with all kinds of great colors. We enjoy the house, which is very spacious, but enjoy the outdoors even more. Fishing, hiking, swinging on grape vines, scavenger hunts, and campfires are staples for our trips. Our family get together ranges ages 3-63 and everyone has a great time. This past year 16 of us stayed here (8 adults and 8 kids) and there was plenty of space for everyone. We thoroughly enjoy our time here each year and plan on coming back next year too!"

  • Spacious Seclusion for Crafters

"We had a girls' getaway weekend to scrapbook and craft, and the Miller Guesthouse was perfect! There are many spacious common areas that even the photos do not capture. We were wowed by not only the size of the living room, but also the entryway, formal dining room, and downstairs bathroom. We brought 3 portable tables that all fit in the living room with PLENTY of room to still get around. If you are staying with teens and kids, the spacious upstairs loft would be nice for them to have their own space as well. We really appreciated all the bedrooms. The sheets even smelled fresh and clean! Really, everything about the house was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well equipped with tools, serving ware, pots and pans, and dishes. Since we had planned meals to make during our stay, the high quality gas range was great! The countertop space is limited, but there were so many other positives about the house that I don't mention that as a complaint, rather an FYI in the event you have that need for the kitchen. There is a large dining room table that could be used in lieu of countertop space as well. It also should be noted that there is no automatic dishwasher. We did come into the weekend knowing we needed internet connection for both work as well as for our scrapbooking needs, so this was a requirement when we looked for a place to stay. This became an issue, which was the only negative thing about our stay. If one device was connected, it was quite slow. Once we put two or more devices on the wireless network, we had failures. Admittedly this was a disappointment as knew we had to be dependent on internet connectivity. The house sits up on a high hill, which makes you feel more secluded as you are high above the road. It also really made for beautiful sunsets in the living room with the large picture windows. All the natural sunlight on the first floor was very refreshing and certainly helpful for our crafting activities. During our stay, we did have a minor need. We contacted the housekeeper, and she was quickly responsive and stopped by to address our need. She was very nice and helpful. We are already planning to return in the spring for another girls' reunion!"
