  • Great Location!

"If you're okay with not getting a reservation confirmation until the day before your arrival (they recommend booking a back up), these corporate housing units are a great option for stay in the Columbus area. We visited for a weekend to visit the zoo. Our unit was 6 minutes from the zoo, and across the street from many restaurants, grocery, and minutes from 270 - GREAT location! Fully furnished, completely comfortable stay. We wished for instructions to use the DVD player with TV, and an interior dead bolt or key chain lock."

  • Comfy, Quaint and Nice Location!

"You never know what you might get when you book a vacation house online. Despite the always pristine pictures and flowery descriptions with these types of things, sometimes you are disappointed with the results. This was certainly not the case with this historic tudor cottage. Our family of four (My wife, two young boys and me) spent three days and two nights at this delightful cottage at Bluebird Beach in Vermilion. Dan met us when we checked in and showed us the many amenities. They included a full furnished kitchen, several beds, towels and linens and little touches of home on the lake. (Make sure you look for the sculpture of an impish gnome's face in the ceiling corner above the interior fireplace!) The bathroom and shower are a new addition and a pleasant surprise with the multi-jet hot tub! We also loved the outdoor fireplace porch and took full advantage of the firewood (even though it was a warm night). We also made use of the outdoor grill and easily served a steak dinner with fresh corn on the cob from a local vendor. The beach is only a 3-minute walk from the cottage. Not a huge amount of room to spread out, but ample for relaxing by the water. (My son loved the flattened out rocks under the sand and spent a lot of time skipping stones!). All-in-all, a quiet neighborhood and a nice location to take in all of the northwest shore of Lake Erie's many destinations. We are a little reluctant to give such a great review, because it would be nice to keep this a "best kept" secret, but we also thought that we should share our experience with those who are looking for the perfect "old school" Lake Erie experience! Thanks again to Dan, who was a gracious host who was always on call to answer a question or let us know where things were! Tom & Laurie C. (Cincinnati, OH)"

  • Cousins reunion

"The Legacy Luxury Cabin was a lovely large home for our female cousins reunion with lots of sleeping room near the Amish area in a quiet neighborhood. It was easy to find and provided close access to the interstate. We enjoyed the living room and fire place to sit and catch up with family as well as the dining room area. There were 11 mature adults from multiple states who stayed there with 3 more joining us one day. Jesse was rapid in responding to any contact with him before and while there, including an issue that had come up. He rapidly followed up with the issue. He was prompt in sending our deposit after our departure. Note that all the bedrooms require climbing a flight of stairs, so not really the best for aging adults. The hot tub was enjoyed by several. I appreciated the wall hangings with scripture."

  • Beautiful Lakehouse!

"We stayed at the Lakehouse in August while visiting family who live just a few doors down. It was the perfect place for my family and I. My two little boys ADORED the Pirate room. The place is very roomy with a large kitchen and plenty of areas to eat or relax. The hosts have thought of everything. We particularly enjoyed the nice stereo system for enjoying music inside and outside the house. We also loved the many places to play board games or be outside, including the nice deck and fire pit. We also used the dock for my aunt's pontoon boat and for sitting on the pier with our kids watching the ducks, swans and many boats go by. I have had family living on Portage Lakes since the 1930s and it holds many special memories for me and it was great to be able to stay at such a lovely lake home while visiting."
