  • The Perfect Pacific Coast Get-a-way.

"This condo has everything you'd want for a trip to the coast. It's location is at the hub of coastal activities including State Parks, hiking, surfing, sight seeing, shopping, eating, whale watching, fishing, historical sites, artist galleries, and enjoyment of the ocean's power, sounds, sea breeze and restfulness. We have traveled to the coast for over 50 years and thoroughly enjoyed this trip. The owner has filled the condo with everything you'd every need. It's very comfortable, everything is clean and spotless, parking is convenient and the ocean is filled with whales spouting and fishing boats pulling large fish out of the waters. The surf boils and churns right outside your front living room windows, something we've never experienced before. We left thinking we should have scheduled more time for this stay. There is so much to do and so many opportunities for enjoying the Coast around you when you are here. Pick this home away from home and you'll love your time at the Coast."

  • return felt like home

"I have stayed at Windside for many years but had not been back since 2009. I brought my cousin and her husband because they have never been to Oregon before. We only stayed three nights and it was like coming home to an ol' friend. I also have had an opportunity to become acquainted with the owner and had communicated with him prior to my arrival. A beautiful location with privacy. I have only seen the people in the home next door once in many years. The cottage is roomy and the view is beautiful and the direct access to the beach makes it great for beachcombers. The beach has never been crowded as a matter of fact, I have never seen more than two or three people. Quick access to Newport or to Yachats or Waldport and of course to Newport Bay area. I am coming back in Oct for a week. Have been here in winter and some beautiful storms. Have been here in spring and beautiful flowers and weather and sunsets. You can't go wrong at the Windside and the rate is reasonable."

  • Amazing!!!!

"Tucked away in Seal Rock, Oregon,we discovered a small piece of paradise. Tucked back into a small alcove of trees, you get an immediate sense of peaceful serenity. The decor ranges from whimsical to modern...all coming together beautifully. It was nice not to have to live out of a suitcase or decide which restaurant we wanted to go to for any of meals. There were a couple days we chose to just stay in and relax, other days we sightseeing. The beauty of the surrounding area is amazing. From the rolling farmlands, quiet beauty of the foothills, to witnessing the awesome splendor and power of the ocean. We were also lucky enough to witness the dignity and majesty of a mated pair of bald eagles while at the Yaquina Bay Lighthouse. There are many little treasures to find. One of personal favorites was The Chocolate Frog just down the road in Waldport. The owners were amazing and very friendly. We've had a great time this week and have only one regret. We really wish we could have stayed longer. However, plans are already in the making for next year to return to this beautiful home and the slice of paradise it's tucked away in."
