  • Exceeded our expectations!

"From the minute we walked into Pinecrest House we felt instantly 'at home'. The casual comfort of this home made our Christmas holiday very special. The winter weather was filled with all the excitement of the Pacific ocean beaches. We were cozy and warm in our house gazing out at the waves with a fire to keep us warm and dry. The access to the beaches was easy and we walked for miles without seeing another person. We enjoyed seafood from the Newport South Beach Fish Market that we prepared in the well stocked kitchen. We cooked a turkey dinner and toasted the enjoyment of being with friends and family in such a wonderful environment. Although we didn't get to meet Pam and Carl - we felt like we knew them as we shared their beautiful home. We especially loved the retro ottoman in the living room and a special touch was to see the measurements of their growing grandchildren on the door jam in the back porch room. We will treasure our memories of our time at Pinecrest House and we hope to return there in the future."

  • Nice, Peaceful Beach Retreat

"Since there were no reviews yet, we didn't know what to expect, but we were very pleased. The house was nice, clean and had a well equipped kitchen, deck, and living areas that are suitable for up to 8. We had a nice view of the ocean and we could hear the distant roar of waves while out on the covered deck using the nice BBQ and outdoor table. The house had a few minor cosmetic issues (as most homes do) , but it was a great choice and I would stay there again Getting to the beach is an easy 5 minute walk. Even though there were other houses around, we rarely saw other people and it was very quiet and tranquil. Waldport (population ~2200 ...when the tide is in) is not a place to go if you are looking for a lot of entertainment, but they have a few stores and restaurants, and I believe that they even have one stop light, which will probably be the closest you will get to a traffic jam."

  • Summer Oregon Beach Vacation

"A Fabulous time at Annie's House in Waldport, Oergon! We loved the accommodations. Perfect on the beach. Ceiling to floor window views. Comfortable living and sleeping areas. Everything you need is at Annie's house. Close to many sites. Time to relax and unwind. Enjoyed the local Beach Club for swimming. Oregon's natural beauty shined upon us at our stay. Would love to stay here again in the future."

  • Great location for a family reunion~

"Pacifica House is a great location for a family reunion easily accommodating 6 adults & 2 dogs. It is short walk to the most beautiful beach I've seen on the west coast of the US. Nancy, the owner, was clear in her communication, timely & very easy to work with from beginning to end. I can not say enough good things about the rental's care taker Jodee. The house itself has suffered the fate of time & ocean weather but that doesn't distract from it's aminities - lovely hot tub on deck, fabulous master bath & tub, full kitchen. Fun towns all close by- Waldport, Florence & Yachats (be sure to go to the Drift Inn for a meal!). A good time was had by all!"
