  • Relaxing

"We had a great time staying here. It was quiet and you are able to completely unplug from the world. Definitely worth the drive."

  • Best Family Beach House!

"The house was better than described and the pictures do not do it justice. Melinda was excellent we had a little mix-up on our end and she was very kind about it. Our children were in love with the beach and the toys that the house had provided. They flew kites that were at the house and spent hours on the beach. Our youngest did not want to leave. We can't wait to return for hopefully a longer stay!!"

  • relaxing stay in Yachats

"We drove from California, up through the Redwoods, and up the Oregon coast for a 3 night stay at this lovely home. The view of the river and ocean from the living room and kitchen was wonderful. The weather was great as well. We couldn't believe how few people were on the beaches here. The home was very comfy, with plenty of utensils in the kitchen, which we used quite a bit to make breakfast and dinners. We also had dinner at the Drift Inn in Yachats, which was a great place. There was some work being done in the front ditch while we were there, but they were very nice, and we were able to get in an out without any problems. They have a very well-stocked library of DVD's and games, and we played lots of card games while we were there. We had a bit of trouble connecting with the Wifi, and the only one this affected was my husband. I was fine without it, as I wanted to get away from the electronics for a few days! We didn't bring our dogs, but this is a great home for pets, and the beach is very dog-friendly. There is easy access to the beach when you take a right at the street and go over the bridge to the local beach access. My teen girls went down the rocks in the backyard, but this may be a bit treacherous for older relatives or toddlers. Overall, a very relaxing time was had at this quaint home on the beach!"
